“1: The rooms do not have a mattress for a bed. They use a futon pad on a platform. These are not only very firm but extremely uncomfortable. I had 3 of the worst nights of sleep in my life, and this was a major contributing factor. They recently remodels all the rooms but cheaped out on the bed. 2: There is a ton of noise from cars and pedestrians nearly around the clock, and the walls are paper thin. So even with all windows closed and shades drawn (which you’ll need because there is a ton of……

“The bathroom was cold during my stay, no heat. There was no parking available in front of the house as the host mentioned, he didn’t shovel the snow so I parked two blocks away and I was chased out of the space I parked by a resident. The room could use thicker curtains for privacy. Linens and pillow cases were unclean. Other than that it was quiet area. ”

“The host was extremely attentive to any questions or needs. Excellent and immediate communication. Good, quiet location between Islip airport and Port Jefferson. The size of the unit was very adequate for two people. Bathroom was clean and adequately stocked with towels and wash cloths.The reason for 2 stars is we thought the apartment was not very clean from floor to ceiling. This apartment has huge potential to be very cute. In my option, it needs an entire over haul.”
