Island Daydreamer at Kingscote

Welcome to Island Daydreamer, located in Kingscote, the main town of Kangaroo Island (known as KI by the locals). Conveniently situated, it serves as a great base to access KI’s best attractions. Minutes from the town centre shopping district and waterfront, its comfortable and modern interior, well equipped kitchen, spacious outdoor patio and beautifully landscaped gardens will appeal equally to families, groups of friends and couples alike. We have endeavoured to create for you a "home away from home". The perfect space to relax and recharge after exploring the island. From the bright and airy interior of the house to the tranquil undercover outdoor patio overlooking the fishpond, lawn and garden, picture yourself enjoying the afternoon breeze with drink in hand whilst firing up the BBQ and planning your next day's activity on the island! For those with kids, your little ones will enjoy the fully enclosed backyard with expansive lawn, cubby house and outdoor games. Unlimited high speed wifi (NBN) with new smart TV available.

Island Daydreamer has only recently been renovated and includes all new furniture and electrical appliances as well as new linen and towels.

The property accommodates up to 7 adults and 1 infant. A travel cot (for infants up to 84cm or 13.5kg) is available on request. Cot mattress, linen, sleeping bag and blanket is available.

Guest access:

Guests will have access to the entire house* and garden (front and back yards) apart from a small number of locked cupboards in hallway, laundry and kitchen where supplies are kept as well as the garage and granny flat behind garage.

*Please note that the base price includes up to 5 adults using Bedroom 1 (1 x Queen) & Bedroom 2 (1 x Queen & 1 x Single). Bedroom 3 (2 x single) is locked by default unless requested or extra guest fee has been paid. Apologies for any inconvenience, however we have had many unauthorised extra guests stay in the past.

We understand you might have a requirement for special bed arrangements such as travelling for work. If this is the case, please contact us to discuss.
