Great Little Spot

The backyard was perfect. We loved the access to the river. The kitchen was well appointed. Beds were nice and firm. We had a great stay! Don’t miss Crazy Gals cafe in town for a great breakfast!

Fun weekend playing in the River

Visiting family in town the place was absolutely perfect distance from town, great to have the family over with kids to play in the river, grill and have a bonfire. When we come into town next I will be looking for this place again!

Great little house with amazing back yard

We were very close to Colorado River and just loved floating and hanging out in water on the sandbars. The house is close enough to town for convenience but far enough away to feel country. The neighbors were also pretty chill (the ones we met).

Nice Home

This was our first time at this home. We stayed at the one identical to this one last year. This home had more beds and living room seating. We love the short walk to the river and the firepit at night was great for making smores with the kids. We will definitely be back.

Get away

Nice house, needs some lamps but otherwise comfortable. Has all that is needed. Good place to party with nice deck and backyard. Property to river is hardley accessible.

Cozy place by the river

This is a well maintained and equipped property. The internet speed at a location outside of the urban area is quite impressive. Fortunately, there was a nice stream of water in the river that the kids were able to enjoy by getting into the river not too far from the property. Search for swimming hole in maps for more directions. Overvall, a great place and we will visit again.

Fun in the water

Great little house right on the river! When we arrived the entry into the house and the wifi name/password did not match the instructions, the house also had not been cleaned since the last stay, but Vacasa had that remedied in less than 2 hours. The rest of our stay was great. The house had everything we needed. The evening and morning views off the patio were beautiful! It was a short drive to get to other sections of the river that had small waterfalls.

River paradise

This home was spotless and even cuter in person! The river is gorgeous and great for all ages. Bring fishing poles because the water is crystal clear and you can watch the fish eat your bait. We can’t wait to come back again!

Cute house - No water in River

Most house amenities were great, lots of items for kitchen use, plenty of seating, towels, bathroom were great, clean. Very well set up for large group. Nice and quite, great neighbors. A few issues, grill burners didn’t work, stair trim piece wobbly, and bedroom tv remote only did few functions. Lots of lakes nearby. We had a wonderful time utilizing the property.

A nice place but it wasn’t cleaned to the expectations

The place was in a good location and we enjoyed staying there with our friends and family. The only issue we had was the floors were not cleaned and the kitchen and the 1/2 bath wasn’t stocked. Other than that, the other bathrooms were clean and stocked and bed rooms were clean and all sheets changed. It was overall a good experience except for the floors. The property manager was VERY responsive and offered to send somebody the next day. We refused due to Corona and restrictions.

Nice getaway

The house was a nice place to stay as our family gathered for a summer reunion of sorts. Others were staying in nearby places. Sadly, there was no water close by, but that certainly wasn't your fault! There were a couple of things, nothing that ruined the trip for us, that we just wanted to bring to your attention. I'm not sure the couch bed sheets had been changed and there was quite a bit of "couch trash" when we unfolded it in preparation for bedtime. The Wi-Fi service was still spotty, even after rebooting the router and modem. And there are some nails on the deck that could be nailed down a little better. They were a little tough on bare feet, especially our toddler's. All in all, a good place to stay for a weekend getaway!

Disappointed

The river was dry, and although I know that is no one’s fault, if someone had notified me a few weeks prior- I would have cancelled and chosen a different water friendly vacation for my grandchildren . When I called the day of arrival to notify someone at vacasa of my situation and to see if I could pay extra to relocate, I was told there was nothing available. I was then told that a manager from vacasa would call me back to see about a possible discount- however, no one ever called. I don’t know if vacasa and Vrbo are the same, but I think it would be helpful to be notified that the advertisement of floating the river is not accurate because there was little to no water at the time of our stay.

Great long weekend getaway

The property management company was easy to contact after checking in and discovering two issues with the property. The next day they had a maintenance person over to correct the issues for us, super helpful and fast! Everything was well stocked, clean, and in a quiet spot for us to relax.

Spartan Weekend
