"Manolis is a great host who genuinely cares about his guest and ensuring they have a great holiday. The property is fantastic with amazing views, great place to relax. But also only a short drive to restaurants/shops in Kissamos and Chania. Our children loved the outdoor cinema and pool, the outdoor space is great for families. Manolis was always happy to help with recommendations for beaches, restaurants etc and goes above and beyond what most hosts do for their guests."

You do need to check into the actual hotel (which this is not, this is the villas), which is like 5-10 mins away by car, and I'll say this now that the hotel does have a restaurant. While you are about 20 mins outside of Chania it served as a good base for all of the western beaches and attractions while still close enough to Chania for dinners and exploring. "The property was just right for us. The drive up the mountain is not for the weak of heart though as most of the climb is on steep and narrow roads. That said, most folks take it slow and work together to get where they need to go safely. The view was stunning and the atmosphere relaxing. Pool was key. We did not stay long enough to use the grill or pizza oven but it was fun to have. "
