Most interesting celebration of wines and cocktails.
Feather bed most comfortable ever.
Delicious meals some from their beautiful on premises garden.
.
The grounds, building and pool were impressive. Our rooms layout was a bit weird with the bed tucked in the corner and the bed was really high.
The fine dining dinner was underwhelming. Would have been nice to have a continental breakfast. We had to leave the property for breakfast.
This is a foodie paradise with great staff, great rooms, and great vibes. Definitely not where I'd go for a spa retreat but it was still super relaxing and would 10/10 return.
Our first time at LH. A well-managed property, in a quaint old-style manor. An excellent kitchen, with the quality of food being absolutely top-notch. (Breakfasts were an exception with the staff being slow or poorly organized.).
Very premium experience. Valet parking included, they charged our EV and took it off the charger when full. Helped us with every request. Our room was ready early so they allowed us to check in a bit early and enjoy the facilities. Great experience.
Gorgeous rooms, great staff and lovely spa. The whole experience is wonderful and I can’t say enough great things. We did wine tastings, walked the grounds with our dog and tried both restaurants. Everything was above and beyond our expectations.
We loved everything about our visit and stay. We cannot wait to go back. It was peaceful and clean and so beautiful. It was a unique and amazing experience for us.
Grounds were beautiful and rooms
Were clean and well maintained. Pool staff was excellent but pool could have been cleaner. Wilkes Bar was disappointing…. Don’t really accommodate hotel guests for walk ins and could not even make reservations for the next night but they seem to always have availability in the dining room and room service. Wilkes atmosphere was stiff non personable … giving orders to staff in front of guests and Correcting minor staff errors in front of guests. Made it feel awkward. Also had to call for ice twice until I finally had to go down to the front desk to get it. Should have available ice machines if they cannot provide on first request. Just not what you would expect from a hotel like this, hopefully they make adjustments to improve as it can be a beautiful getaway.
Stayed at Langdon Hall for my 25 wedding anniversary. The accommodation and service was exceptional. I would highly recommend this facility. My only caution is if you have mobility issues don't book the cloister rooms as you will have to walk down stairs to them. Overall a beautiful property.
