It's close to the beach

This property is in serious need of updating. It wasn't comfortable, the kitchen isn't well stocked with cooking stuff, the AC isn't great, BUT it is super close to the beach and the hot tub and pool table were great to have. Bring a sharp knife, a good frying pan, a fan or two and your own pillow if you book!

FOR THE AMOUNT WE PAID HOUSE COULD HAVE BEEN CLEANER MORE EQUIPPED BETTER MAINTAINED POOL WAS DIRTY BARELEY HAD KITCHEN ITEMS SHOWERS HAD NO PRESSURE WATER BUILD UP TO PAST YOUR ANKLES EVERYTHING WAS OLD AND OUT DATED. I STAY IN THE OUTTER BANKS EVERY YEAR AND WE HAVE STAYED AT HOMES THAT ARE CLEAN FULLY EQUIPPED COMFORTABLE BEDS CLEAN POOL FUNCIONAL SHOWERS ETC. POOR QUALITY FOR A HOUSE IN THAT PRICE RANGE.

I have to be honest this is going to be my first negative review in my adult life. I paid 7k for this rental. I fell asleep on the couch and my body is covered in bites. I spent lots of my vacation killing spiders and roaches. Children were afraid to sleep in this home because the bug issues

Not bad but not great

House had several issues worth noting: Two of the three swings on swing set were broken/missing. Master bath toilet has been leaking long enough that the subfloor around it is soft to the touch. Decks and railings are very splintered. Park style grill on property is so rusted we weren't comfortable using it. Pool desperately needed cleaning/skimming but both pool skimmers were broken. No hot water in outside shower. All adirondack style deck chairs on top deck were broken. Bottom bedroom had cases of left over flooring stored under the bed which prevented the area from being cleaned, lots of sand and dust on the floor around the bed.
