Spacious beach house

Plenty of space for our family to spread out or gather together. We enjoyed the pool out back, the game room with pool table, and the large upstairs open living room/kitchen/dining area to gather together. It was also nice to have a short walk to the beach.

Hose location nice, however house needs major maintenance

The beach was across the street. Loved all bathrooms and bedrooms. However, arrived and no toilet paper, liquid soaps, cleaning supplies. The pool was dirty. Had to have maintenance come. Then our air conditioning did not work on the top floor which is master bedroom, kitchen, dining and living room. Maintenance came again to say that it needed to be replaced! So needless to say we were hot upstairs. Outside furniture is dirty and broken. There’s broken steps outside too. The main master bathroom Jet tub doesn’t work either. Gross pots and pans and no baking dishes. We were looking forward to this trip for a year so we didn’t want to ruin it with all this. They just really need to replace and repair things.

Nice stay but attention to property NEEDED

We had a wonderful stay- our house was conductive for the amount of people. Very spacious. However, there were many inconveniences that could easily be addressed for a minor cost. We found nails by the hot tub areas. Found in sand of volleyball court as well. Majority of outlets are loose and unusable in house and pool area. One outlet loose and exposed from floor in upstairs living space. Not near an adequate amount of utensils - but nice it had two dishwashers. Very disorganized kitchen - top floor shower leaks out shower door soaking floor outside of shower. And obvious mold. This house is located right alongside the main road so it was very loud when spending time on deck. There is not near enough furniture outside on deck for more than 8 people to comfortably sit. And furniture is junky. Only 4 chairs around pool area and one was broken. Would have been nice to have more furniture here to sit on if you weren’t in the pool. And maybe an umbrella. There is no shade at all. Ice maker has a hole so just drops ice everywhere every time you open the freezer. Railing on third floor also loose! This is unsafe. The description of house mentioned two refrigerators- there was one upstairs and one in the garage. The one in the garage did not work. Volleyball court was really nice to have. Hot tub and pool were great. The air condition on the first floor was not working when we arrived but maintenance took care of that promptly.

147 Duck Road didn't worked out well for us

On the positive side all rooms had attached baths and bedrooms size was ok. The pool area and game room was ok. Improvements needed in our opinion: All the beds very uncomfortable and squeaked a lot and poor quality pillows. Home close to the road caused lots of road noise in night. Some of us used ear plugs. The walk to the beach was short. Kitchen utensils do need improvement. The house claims 18 people however there is only space for 8 people to sit in the living room area. There are no darkening blinds or curtains any where in the house. This was another issue for us specially with small kids.
