Updated, cozy cottage in Duck – 4 bedrooms, in town & oceanside w/ views!

See, hear & smell the ocean from this comfy Duck cottage. "Our 3 Ducks" has 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a hot tub, a screened-in porch, an outdoor shower & plenty of sun decks. Newly updated with a focus on comfort & convenience including a smart TV in every room. Fully equipped kitchen, large dining table, porch seating & living room. Just a short walk to the beach or into the Town of Duck where you can enjoy quaint shops, the best restaurants, water sports, and the sound-side boardwalk.

There are two levels . . . the bottom level has 3 bedrooms (king, queen & double/twin bunk bed w/ twin trundle), a full bath, and a slider to the deck with a hot tub. The top level has a stocked kitchen, full bath, living/dining area, queen bedroom, and a screened-in porch. The cottage has plenty of parking, an enclosed outdoor shower, and a utility room with a washer/dryer, beach carts, beach chairs, beach towels and umbrellas for your use. Fresh, clean bed linens and bath towels are provided as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Also available for your convenience and enjoyment, we now offer a 4 person golf cart @ $50 per day. Golf cart reservations are optional and can be reserved for whatever consecutive days you choose. Golf cart, for a little extra fun or for guests with mobility issues, can be used to drop off people and beach gear at beach access or to drive to the Town of Duck with parking at the end of Poteskeet Drive. Requires prepayment, signature on liability waiver and acknowledgment of Town of Duck golf cart usage rules. Inquire if interested.

If you can't find available dates that work for you, send us a message. We have a similar property in nearby Southern Shores that is newly renovated. Our second property, Wave Call, is 1/2 mile from the ocean and private beach access with parking. The cottage sleeps 8, allows pets and includes a hot tub.

We had another great Thanksgiving stay in Duck. There is so much to do over the holiday and the house was a perfect base camp for our many trips back and forth to Duck. Loved the hot tub for a way to rejuvinate.

We had a wonderful long girls weekend with the dogs at Our Three Ducks! An easy 5 minute walk to the beach or to the shops and dining in Duck, sunny decks for relaxing, big tvs for movie nights, and just a great place to relax. The kitchen was more than well appointed, and we very much appreciated the toiletries under the sink for any forgotten needs (including aloe for sunburns, thankfully not needed this time, haha). We loved our trip and the chance to connect and relax in beautiful Duck.

Our 3 Ducks is a great place to stay. I had my 3 grandchildren with me. Plenty of room, easy walk to the beach, easy walk to the shops and restaurants in Duck. The house is well supplied, very clean and very comfortable. The kids found plenty to do and I enjoyed the screened porch. The home owners couldn’t have been more accommodating. I would stay here again, no doubt.

Great location in between the beach and Duck restaurants and shop. The place is on the smaller side but renovated nicely and well stocked. The only issue we had is a lack of AC airflow in the king bedroom. We used a fan to blow cold air down the hallway. The rest of the home was comfortable.

This was a wonderful house for 6 people. It was very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The kitchen was well stocked, and we appreciated the little touches such as dish detergent, snacks, and toilet paper. It was also very well located with an easy walk to the beach and to the boardwalk. We also really loved that it came with beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and beach towels. Perfect getaway

We had the best time celebrating Mother’s Day weekend at Michelle’s home in Duck. The location was ideal- 5 min walk to the beach and a 1 min drive to restaurants/shops. The home had multiple amenities to make going to the beach a breeze- a wagon to help transport gear (plus a fun ride for our 2 year old!), beach umbrellas, chairs, towels, and even sand toys. The house was extremely kid friendly with books, games, toys, and bunk beds. For the adults we loved the hot tub and both the screened in porch and open air deck. Communication with Michelle and Joe was great- I always received a response within an hour or two. The house was extremely clean and the house was in a quiet neighborhood. We already can’t wait to go back!

Excellent communication and personalization

We planned at a fairly last minute a stay in the outer banks. The home was welcoming and clean. We found the accommodations to be perfect. What was nice were the personalized touches (it was my wife's birthday and the home was welcoming with birthday wishes). The accessories were fantastic, We are used to bringing our own chairs and bike pumps etc., but we found that none of that was needed. The proximity to both the beach and the central Duck downtown area were fantastic! Thank you Joe & Michelle for making our weekend getaway fantastic.

Spring Break

We very much enjoyed our trip to Duck this past week for spring break. The house couldn’t be in a better location with just a short walk to the beach and to all of the shops in town. My kids were loving the proximity to Duck Donuts in particular! Michelle and Joe are wonderful hosts and the property was immaculate! The personal touches and amenities were greatly appreciated and we were extremely comfortable our entire stay. We all slept so well in the cozy and peaceful beds and greatly enjoyed the hot tub during the cool April nights. I would definitely choose this property again for a relaxing Outer Banks vacation!

Boutique Hospitality in the Heart of Duck

This beautifully updated oceanside cottage, located in the quiet Poteskeet neighborhood, was the perfect setting for our family to enjoy an extended holiday. Michelle & Joe welcome visitors with an exceptional guest house experience, with comfortable beds, fluffy bath towels, and numerous thoughtful amenities one would find at a boutique hotel. This is not your typical rental, but more like a retreat where you can relax & recharge. The well-equipped kitchen has been renovated with gorgeous granite countertops and blue glass accents, even stocked with coffee, teas, and bottled water in the fridge. We enjoyed morning coffee on the cozy screened in porch, movie nights on their cinematic tv in the living room, and star-gazing from the hot tub to end our day. Thankfully, you can bring your fur babies to enjoy this getaway with you, too! Michelle & Joe were a dream to work with and we plan to return! The best beach vacation house!

Thoroughly impressed with this house!! We were extremely comfortable and thrilled with our stay. The kitchen was well-stocked and clean, and the beds and linens were comfortable. The bathrooms were in great shape unlike other beach houses that are often grimy with clogged drains. The hot tub was a wonderful addition. Michelle and Joe were excellent hosts who communicated immediately and went above and beyond, such as adding toys to the kids' room upon my request. Plenty of beach toys and gear. Our kids were thoroughly happy here - and delighted by the enormous television! Thank you so much - hope to be back many times!!

We spent 3 days at Our 3 Ducks. My grandchildren and I really enjoyed our stay. The house’s proximity to the beach and to the Town of Duck was great. The easy boardwalk access to the beach and the life guard station located right near the access were huge pluses for me. My family had a wonderful time during our stay at this cottage. The location couldn't be beat. Short walk to the private access for the beach within the neighborhood and easy walk into the heart of town. Family Getaway

My family and I took a trip for winter break and had the most wonderful time staying at this home! Everything was clean, well stocked and it made us feel right at home. The updates that were done did not go unnoticed. The house location can't be beat...close enough to walk to the beach and to downtown Duck and the boardwalk. Although it was chilly, we spent a lot of time bundling up and hanging on the beach, coming back to hang in the hot tub and then playing one of the many games that the owner's have supplied. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
