「It’s a lovely, rather quirky, cabin with the owner’s personality imprinted on it. The WiFi and air conditioning was superb. The only surprise was no cooker: no hot plates or oven. We had to make do with a good microwave, but not everything can be heated in a microwave. It’s sited in beautiful woods yet only a 15 minute drive or so from the centre of Knoxville. But we loved the place and with that one proviso re the cooker, we can recommend it.」

「This is the 2nd trip to the Ponderosa for us and our dog. We've enjoyed our stay both times. We noticed several nice upgrades since the last time we were there a few years ago. The beds were comfortable. The accommodations was very clean. I couldn't even tell that pets had ever been in that cabin. The cabin had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. The grounds were well kept, clean, quiet and secure. Plenty of outdoors activities to do there. The Brandi and Kevin were very good...

「Our group enjoyed the many beds, easy location to UT and Market Square. The hot tub and screened porch were bonuses. A lovely rustic home with plenty of parking in a beautiful wooded setting.」

「Excellent hosts! This property is such a peaceful retreat and something we would love to come back to. Brandi and Kevin are super welcoming and have thought of everything guests could want or need. It’s just outside of Knoxville and convenient to lots of Great Smoky Mountain activities.」

「We loved our stay at this cozy quirky cabin. We loved how authentic the cabin was and the story behind it. The owner Jennifer was awesome. She was very accommodating and gave recommendations on nearby attractions to visit. We also loved her mutual Christian faith. The claw foot tub was also a wonderful experience. 10/10 stay!」

「This was a great little get a away spot. It was clean and cozy and met our needs perfectly.」

「The property is at a marina with a good view of the lake. We had a very relaxing stay. It was very quiet when we were there but we were not there on a busy weekend at the marina. There is a washer and dryer available, but it is not in the unit. It is downstairs.」

「Nice and quiet dead end road. Had deer and turkeys in yard about every morning. Clean place, good hot water and good pressure. Beds were very comfortable. 3 couples are no problem. Nice kitchen and plenty of kitchen accessories.」

「We had a wonderful time at this cabin. The host was communicative and very welcoming. It’s quiet and relaxing and we saw lots of wildlife including deer, geese, and an adorable skunk. We also enjoyed using the kayaks. We would definitely stay here again.」

「Perfect for a Knoxville getaway. Close to Oak Ridge Hwy and right beside the marina with a great view of the lake from the back deck! Very clean with lots of care taken to make the stay feel like home.」

「Lets be honest folks if you could add one thing that means the most when glamping: comfort! Well the weather did not cooperate! 90's most days and thank god for trees!!U need a small digital fan to perch over your dome (bald head) take it from me I brought one. The facilities and views are fantastic. Had some pleasant encounters with horses and the house cat! on the whole kudos for the entire crew! Yes even you Bobby!」

「Spent 3 nights with my daughter and 3 grandkids to attend gymnastics nationals in Knoxville. Our favorite room to hang out was the sunroom with hot tub. From there we saw so much wildlife: several deer, three wild turkey, numerous squirrels. The best surprise was the massage chair, we loved it! We walked the trail in the woods and took pics of the beautiful views. The beds were comfortable and everything we needed was provided. Perfect stay!」

「The cabin feels removed from the stir and noise of the city but is also only five minutes drive to a Wal-Mart for convenience. We enjoyed the quiet.」

「very big space perfect for our retreat! it was loved the area very nice stay」

「Beautiful cabin! Clean and well appointed. I wish the coffee maker wasn’t so small. There were 10 of us and it took over 3 pots for everyone to have a cup. I also wish the “pavilion” had been cleaned and had more comfortable/newer seating. I also wasn’t aware there was no music outside. We have a singer/songwriter among us who typically serenades us. So that was disappointing.」
