There is nothing even remotely "downtown" about this hotel Homeless, prostitutes and police with a man and woman handcuffed on the hood of the car greeted me at the convenience store next to the property. False advertising doesn't even come close to summing this up. The staff, however, couldn't have been nicer and indicated that my complaints were typical Bad call and won't ever go back. I will stick to "truly" downtown and pay a couple bucks more to be safe. Fortunately my daughter spent the night on campus after dinner

Service at the front desk was friendly. Our room smells like dog. Sink was stoped up. Faucet in bathroom was dirty. Again the room smells so badly of dog. It’s terrible.

The pool was under construction and my kids were pretty disappointed about that. Other than that we were happy with our stay.

This place was quite a bit more than comparable places but we picked this hotel because it had a hot tub but it was not working the whole pool area was closed no notice or anything until we checked in. The laminate on bathroom door was completely peeling off.

Staff at reception were very polite and accommodating. Room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was earlier that advertised which we appreciated. 2nd time at this hotel and will come again.

It’ll do the job and it’s honestly near everything. Stayed here with my family for the zoo. The pool is FREEZING and very small, the hot tub is even smaller and never available(dramatically said). It’s not that bad of a place although it could use an upgrade. The staff was absolutely amazing and very accommodating. I’d stay here again!

The ceilings had been patched up from prior water damage , very noticeable . All over the room . A picture had been taken off the wall and the glue and nails were present . This hotel has so much potential .

They lied to me about the room over the phone, didn't clean the room Sunday when we had the placard on the doorknob, they didn't offer to make it right, just gave us towels to take up to our room, when we left, the guy at the desk never asked us how our stay was or nothing. He just asked if we were checking out, didn't say have a nice day or nothing. We're going to stay at another motel next time.

Breakfast was good with a varied hot offers each day. Would have hoped the desk clerk upon check in explained when breakfast hours were and that the wifi password was on our key card envelope.

Clean and comfortable
Hotel was clean, comfortable, and convenient to our location. However, the gym is in rough shape. Broken equipment, no towels or water, door not working, had to wait for staff to come open it. Also, no towels in the pool/hot tub room. But overall good stay, nice breakfast included, clean and friendly.

The staff at the hotel was great. However we were pretty disappointed in the state of the hotel itself. Our beds were clean, but the room smelled strongly of old smoke and faintly of urine. We had intended to use the pull out couch for our third child but to be honest the couch was gross. There were stains, a bunch of dried up food was in the pull out bed itself, so we obviously didn’t not have her sleep there. I would say the hotel is tired and possibly needs a bit of a Reno. It was less than what we would expect of a typical best western.

The odour in our initial non smoking room was overpowering. Mini fridge was also broken. Front desk moved our room immediately without question. Second room was fine but cobwebs were hanging from the ceiling. Hotel is surrounded by people experiencing Homelessness. Clothes, debris and garbage was strewn around adjoining abondoned properties.

I was looking forward to soaking in the hot tub but the heater and jets were not working and it was just dirty water. The pool was not very warm so I settled for a cold swim. Staff was friendly, parts of the hotel were a bit run down (pool area, workout rooms).

My stay was good. The best part was the staff, they were extremely friendly and responsive. Stayed here with my husband and dog. My dog waThe pool was ok the only downsize is the hot tub is very small so we had to take turns. It was also very dirty.

Pet Friendly
The hotel was nice. We had a suite so we had a separate sitting area in our room. The hotel is pet friendly too and charges $15 a night if you have a pet. Only issue was the toilet running for a few seconds every five minutes or so but we just shut the bathroom door and it the sound wasn't an issue.
