The L shaped design of the home and the huge wraparound lanai encourages relaxing and absorbing the sunshine and the gorgeous views.

Poipu Kai Resort Amenities: Enjoy the private heated saltwater pool at home and the use of the resort swimming pool, hot tub and eight soft and hard tennis court for guests.

You are only a five-ten minutes walk away, through the lush green belts of the resort, from the Poipu and Shipwreck beaches and The Poipu Bay golf course, home of the PGA Grand Slam. The resort has 24-hour security for your peace of mind.

Dining and Family Rooms: Large picture windows on all three sides offer majestic views of the mountains, rainbows, and coconuts swaying in the trade winds. The large open living room area of ~1000 square feet easily accommodates large families in comfort.

The family room features cable TV, Wireless Internet, books, DVD and stereo radio. Between the spectacular views, beautiful sunrises, rainbows, large lanai, comfortable furnishings and tropical garden, you may not want to go home from this first-class vacation home.

Poipu has the best climate and the beaches: On Kauai. The beaches can be enjoyed by toddlers and adults alike. There are wading areas for children and excellent snorkeling for all ages.

In addition to watching monk seals and turtles at the beaches, there is an infinite variety of outdoor activities ranging from horseback riding, hiking, kayaking to golf to challenge everyone.

Poipu Shopping Village: Offering a variety of shops, restaurants, and retail stores. A great place to find gifts, art, clothing or groceries. Do not forget to ask about Hawaiian and Tahiti dance show by local Hawaiian every Tuesday and Thursday. - Old Koloa Town has two supermarkets, Sueoka's and Big Save for groceries.

You have a whole house, private pool, private space to enjoy your family and the wonderful Poipu views at any time of the day.

At night, you can swim in the warm pool while watching the milky ways!

The Bird of Paradise home is also part of Poipu Kai so you can access the Poipu Kai pool/hot tub and 9 tennis courts.

The Bird of Paradise home is in Poipu Kai resort, so you can walk through green belt toward east to Shipwreck beach (the same direction to Hyatt hotel) and you can also walk through green belt toward west to Poipu beach

Car rental is recommended. Usually you can rent it from the airport. There is only one airport on Kauai, it is Lihue (LIH) airport.

Within 2 miles, there are so many activities to do. Plan for a week stay would be best. Rent the car is strongly recommended.
- The nightly rate is based on a 6-person occupancy.
For any additional guests, there is a charge of $35 per person, per night, plus Hawaii state tax.
- Please take the kitchen trash out daily and keep the counters and floors clean so that no ants or other pests are coming in.

The main trash bin is stored in the garage. Each trash bag should be tight so the trashman can take it out of the main trash. Trash pick up is on Tuesday and Friday at 7 am, so please put the trash can on Pe'e Road on the night before the trash pickup; on Monday and Thursday evening.

- The Quiet hour after 8 pm
- No outdoor shoes in the house
- No towels/cloth hanging in the front lanai
- No smoking inside the house. We have a designated place for smoking outdoors
- No house party
- No jump/dive in the pool
- No eating or storing food in the bedroom (sorry we have guests who did this and pests came therefore we have to add this rule ). Hawaii's high humidity gives the right condition for food to smell and attract pests.

- Mid-clean will apply for 10 nights or longer stay

- Please close all the windows/doors when AC is on
- Please turn off ACs when you are not using or leaving the house.

- There is a visible security camera under the deck looking at the parking lot

- The driving speed limit is 15 mph in Poipu Kai resort
