You know how you stay *near* the beach, then on the walk to the beach you pass a property and say "How cool would it be to stay there??" Well, this is that property. It's literally right across the road from Poipu Park. To the left is a beach best for body surfing or boogie-boarding; in the middle is a calmer snorkeling area which often has turtles cordoned off on the beach; and to the right is a beach which may have monk seals, with better snorkeling and some surfing further out. All within easy walking distance and connected by a grass park. Sunsets are awesome and well-attended.The property is recently refurbished, well-maintained and well-stocked with towels, bedding and kitchen supplies. Each bedroom has its own AC, with firm beds, 3 showers and in-unit washer and dryer. There's a shaded sitting area underneath the house with a hot tub, clean BBQ and comfortable chairs. There are boogie boards, masks/snorkels, beach chairs and beach umbrellas to use, and an outside shower and hose to use when returning from the beach. The host/owners were friendly and quick to answer any questions, and the helpful maintenance guy was often on-site. Honestly, we can't say enough about the property and its location, and recommend it most highly!
