Fantastic Stay!!

This property was perfect. Great peaceful location in beautiful surroundings! Excellent standard and all the extras included added the finishing touch. The owners were really helpful from airport transfers, advice on local restaurants (which are all excellent) and more than willing to help with extras. Thanks Ana & Nick, we loved our stay and would definitely rebook if back in the area.

Fantastic stay at Villa Splendor

We really enjoyed staying here. The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive to all our enquiries, both before our stay and during. The villa was spacious and well equipped with everything we needed to cook for ten people. We were a family party of ten, three generations. It suited all of us and we had plenty of space and privacy from each other when needed. The teenagers absolutely loved the pool and table tennis and the fact the pool was heated was a welcome bonus. We hired cars and these were invaluable in getting to Cavtat, Pasjaca Beach and Dubrovnik, which were all an easy drive away. Cavtat is a beautiful place with lots of restaurants and a large (paid) car park. We would definitely recommend Villa Splendor for a quiet and relaxing base from which to explore the area.

We have just returned from a wonderful 8 days at villa Splendor. The villa is spacious and well thought out, with plenty of room for 8 adults. The pool is big and we had so much fun swimming and playing pool games. It is so quiet, apart from the occasional passing plane which didn't bother us at all. It has a rural feel, surrounded by trees and mountains, yet only 6 min drive from the airport and local supermarket, 10 mins from lovely Cavtat and 35 from Dubrovnik. Ana & nick live next door and nick was kind enough to drive us all to Dubrovnik for a boat trip we had booked for a very reasonable fee. That was a huge relief as I was quite anxious about trying to park in Dubrovnik (which is difficult and expensive) or getting a bus in case we missed the boat! He also drove us up the hill to the Stone Mill, where they do olive oil and wine tasting events for 30euro per person which we would highly recommend. There was so much delicious food with vegetarians catered for, and dancing!We drove to the local beach (pasjaca I think). It's a long walk down a walkway with steps to a little cove we could snorkel in. Gets deep quickly! We rode zip lines over Dubrovnik at sunset, we took a boat tour of the 3 Elaphite Islands, hired a speed boat from Cavtat (where there is free parking) to snorkel in the blue & Green caves and the fittest of the group got up at 5am to climb the closest mountain. The villa was the perfect base to explore from and we have no hesitation recommending to friends.

We were a mixed group of 8 people (3 families) celebrating my husbands 60th birthday. Everyone had their own good sized rooms/privacy to escape to when needed, most of which are downstairs. We took the upstairs room for ease of access as I struggle with stairs, so this layout was perfect for us all. There is plenty of parking room out front - we had 3 vehicles for our stay. The villa felt very bright, airy and spacious for a large group. Everywhere was very clean and well presented with a few basic essentials waiting for us on arrival. This was perfect and meant we didnt have to rush to the shops straight away. Nic met us at the property and showed everybody around inside and outside. He was happy to answer any questions and gave us lots of information about where to shop etc to start us off. Last but not least - the pool area! The pool terrace was our favourite place to relax. There is lots of space to sunbathe on loungers, sit and chat, have a meal together on the terrace or cool off in the pool. The views outside are truly STUNNING! Even better than the pictures. The villa is in a rural setting, therefore quiet and private - its feels so far away from the hustle and bustle of life. Yet only a few minutes drive and you have the airport, Cavtat - a busy harbour town, and of course Dubrovnik. I would recommend this villa to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing comfortable retreat. You won't be disappointed!

Villa Splendor is splendid

We were three families with small kids and had the best time in Villa Splendor. The villa has everything you need and the location and view is perfect and breathtaking. Thank you to Ana and her family for being wonderful hosts and creating such a beautiful vacation spot.

We have just arrived home today from spending 10 days at Villa Splendor. The hosts Ana and Nick are fantastic and the villa itself is amazing. The hosts arranged airport transfers and were outside waiting for us to arrive even though it was very late. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool area and views were amazing, the kids loved the green to play football and the park area. The villa itself was very clean, rooms and beds were comfortable. Cavtat was a 15 min drive where we went on a boat trip and Dubrovnik was about 45 mins by car. I would most certainly recommend this villa and thank you to Ana and Nick for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful holiday!

A beautiful villa to base yourself at to explore the local areas - we had a brilliant week. Nick & Ana were fantastic hosts and went out of their way to accommodate any needs. The villa is new and decorated to a really high standard surrounded by amazing views. We enjoyed days on the water exploring the islands, beach days and city days in Dubrovnik- fantastic. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

We had a fabulous week at Villa Splendor! Stunning villa, so clean and fresh with everything we needed for a relaxing week. Ana was really helpful, we were able to check in early and leave a little later which made life so much easier. There was also all the essentials (and cake) on arrival to make us comfortable. Exceeded expectations

Everything about our stay was very positive. Ana and Nick are excellent hosts and were always on the hand if we had any questions. The property is very new and modern and finished to a high standard. There is a lovely open feel to the property with the large patio windows overlooking the pool area. There are 5 good sized bedrooms and plenty bathrooms. All in all this property exceeded our expectations and I would 100% recommend a stay here.

Magnificent Experience at Villa Splendor, Croatia

We were delighted to find Ana's property on Vrbo and were really looking forward to our family stay there. Ana was fabulous to deal with from the first moment we made contact with her and welcomed us warmly on arrival. To say that the actual experience of Villa Splendor exceeded our expectations would be putting it mildly! The house was spotlessly clean, fabulously laid out with five generous-sized rooms, three en-suite. The infinity pool gave an amazing view of the mountains and allowed us to relax and cool down morning, noon and night. The location was perfect - ten minutes from Dubrovnik Airport, only 25 minutes from Dubrovnik, the mountains or the Montenegro border, five from a local PEMO store - lovely staff! - and ten from the most beautiful sea swimming spot we've ever seen! We could not recommend Villa Splendor as a holiday destination and Ana as host highly enough!! Vicki, Feargal and family

We couldn’t have asked for anything more. The perfect Villa. Felt like home. Peaceful location yet close enough for visiting the more tourist areas. What a lovely stay this was! It was a perfect short break for a group of us. Both Nick and Ana were friendly and always a text away. Couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Perfect vacation

We very much enjoyed our stay in Villa Splendor. The villa was exceptionally clean and bright, well thought out and beautifully designed. We found it to be well equipped with plenty of towels and toiletries as well as all the necessities in the kitchen. We loved relaxing on the sun loungers, using the outdoor BBQ area and swimming in the pool. Yes, it was November but the weather was perfect and the pool is heated. It's not warm like in the sauna but it was warm enough. The kids loved playing on the little football field and playing table tennis. We loved the villa so much that we didn't do much exploring around since we booked a short stay but we would definitely like to come again and do some exploring. We only went to visit Dubrovnik. It's only 25min drive away and was beautiful this time of year, not many tourists around. The local area is very beautiful and peaceful . The picturesque fishing village of Cavtat is only a 10 minute drive away. Ana and Nick were the perfect hosts - incredibly friendly and warm. They were very helpful during our stay and were easy to get hold of to answer any questions we had, but they are also relaxed and left us to get on. The closeness of Dubrovnik airport was a big plus for us since we traveled with children. Inside the house we didn't notice the planes at all. All in all, this was a perfect short vacation.

Beautiful Villa in an amazing location

We found this modern villa had everything we needed to ensure we had a fantastic and memorable stay. Ana and Nick went out of their way to accommodate all our needs even setting up wi-fi for us at the airport on our way back! The villa is extremely well placed for trips to Dubrovnik and the Montenegro border is only 20 minutes away if you fancy a trip to Kotor. Pleny of grocery stores nearby and a larger super market (Konzum) only a few miles away. Lots of places to eat in, and explore nearby. Great hikes on your doorstep and magnificent views all around the villa. We would love to come back and explore the area further!

The perfect holiday !

When we started our holiday Villa Splendor was to be just a last stop but it turned out to be the best part of our holiday. We enjoyed every second of our stay. Half an hour after landing at the airport we were in the pool chiling and relaxing. The proximity of the airport was a big bonus since we didn't want to waste precious time on transfers. The airplanes didn't bother us especially since there are no night flights. The cake Ana left in the fridge was delicious and they even left 2 bottles of white wine. The house itself toped our expectations. Everything is clean and well decorated, the house feels like a luxury hotel. There were only three of us so we had plenty of space but I can imagine large families or friends here. There are 2 outside dining areas and childrens playground. There is a natural beach Pasjaca nearby, it is a little bit hard to get but worth visiting. We chose this house because it is within driving distance from Dubrovnik wich we visited by boat from Cavtat but we couldn't wait to jump in the pool after all day sightseeing. Our hosts Ana and Niksa provided us useful information and were available for any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this beautiful villa, either for peaceful family holiday or for exploring over crowded Dubrovnik region.
