Highly accessible freestanding luxury studio with large terrace.

This studio is very spacious and cosily furnished, so that you'll feel at home right away. Inside you find a well equipped kitchenette with a 4 burner gas cooker and oven. There is also a fridge with separate freezer. The coffee machine and tableware complete it. Next to it is a sitting area with TV and a dining area. Additional emphasis was placed on accessibility. That means that especially the bathroom is larger than normal, 2.70 x 2.50 metre, and it has additional facilities. There is toilet with hinged arms, a shower with folding seat and two wash basins at different heights. The low wash basin you can use seated, but it is of course also perfect for a child. In the morning you will wake up well rested on one of the two good box spring beds. If you open the sliding door, you walk right onto the large, partly covered terrace. There you can relax, barbecue, listen to the whistling of tropical birds and see the cruise ships approaching from a distance during the season.



Does the tropical climate still become too crazy? Then you can turn on the powerful air-conditioning which will make it nice and cool inside in no time. The TV package is very comprehensive and contains many news channels (CNN, BBC World, Euro News, Fox etc.), Documentaries (Discovery, National Geographic, Lifetime), Mainstream (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, AXN etc.), HBO Movie channels and many music channels. For the Dutch guests there is, in addition to BVN, also NED1, 2 and 3.
Besides that you also have access to Wi-Fi internet.
When you arrive there is always a welcome pack ready with a bottle of wine, tea and coffee, bread and spreads. You are fetched from the airport and brought back upon departure at no additional charge.

The boulevard and many restaurants are within walking distance. However, to fully enjoy the island, transport is advisable. Cars, bicycles and scooters can be rented in the centre. We also offer transport (at a fee).

We have already mentioned that this studio is also extremely suitable when you are dependent on a wheelchair. When additional services are required, such as nursing, rental of assistive devices, wheelchair transport, it will be possible. A mobility scooter is available for free. If you book early, we will help you to organise everything perfectly for a carefree holiday under the Caribbean sun!

The accommodations were comfortable and practical. The set up address all our basic needs in a studio with full kitchen, bathing set up with adjustable temp for hot water. Ron, Ron and Ann were wonderful. We enjoyed interacting with them. They were very helpful and kind people. Our plan was a long term rental, 1-2 months, at a reasonable price for two people and not a group. This fit our needs. The location is residential which comes with chickens, roosters and dogs. Short time to adjust. The neighbors we friendly. Short walk to down town. Trunk available to rent at a reasonable price. The bathroom and layout accommodations are ideal for one with a disability. Internet at times was a challenge but no more than the challenges of island connections. All in all had a wonderful time and would rent again.

Exactly as Advertised!
Clean, spacious and functional studio apartment. Nice patio to eat outside. Kitchen well-equipped, we were able to cook the entire week (a big selling point for us). Tons of towels!!!! Our hosts were very gracious, even stocking the fridge with a few groceries for us (Excellent Cheese, by the way!). No complaints, we had a great vacation. Would recommend.

Poor management + unclean = we lost two days of time on this trip
Internet and wifi were advertised as available. They were not working. The owners mentioned that sometimes the wires blow in the wind. Great. It is always windy on Bonaire. This was a combined work and vacation for us (which the owners had been told), so being without communication was impossible. Dishes were visibly dirty. The battery operated safe had no batteries. There were dog feces in the yard. But the last straw was returning home from dinner to find cockroaches wandering about the yard and on the kitchen floor. We immediately closed up everything and places all possessions as high as possible in the apartment. It is fair to note that cockroaches are present on Bonaire and throughout most of the tropics. However, in 9 weeks spent on the island in other lodging and over 3 trips, we have never seen one. A multi-week stay in a roach infested apartment means exposure to the diseases that they carry, finding roaches in one's bedding (speaking from experience on this), and getting roaches into your baggage and taking them home with you which means a very long and tough fight to get them out of your home - if it is possible at all. We left this property as soon as we could find other accommodations - two nights of the planned 22. Finding other lodging at the last minute was difficult and expensive, but better than staying with no internet and a kitchen full of cockroaches. The owners have offered us a refund (trying to be fair here) but seem clueless. We were given ridiculous instructions for a refund and were forced to dispute the charges through the credit card company. A refund doesn't compensate us for the lost time and stress incurred in trying to meet our work deadline after we lost two days to dealing with these problems and moving.

Geräumiges Apartment in Gehdistanz zum Meer und zur Stadt
Das RoRo Apartment liegt in einer ruhigen Nachbarschaft und in 15-20 Minuten kommt man zu Fuss ans Meer und nach Kralendijk. Die Wohnung selber ist ein eigenes grosszügiges Gebäude neben dem Haupthaus und hat auch eine grosse Terrasse. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet und im Bett schläft man ruhig und nicht zu weich und nicht zu hart. Ann, Rob und Ron sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit! Bei unserer Ankunft war der Kühlschrank bereits mit Frühstück für einige Tage und sogar auch Wein aufgefüllt. Vielen Dank für diese Aufmerksamkeiten und liebe Grüsse aus der Schweiz!

Spacious and spotless!
I really enjoyed my stay with Rob, Ron and Anne. The studio is situated at the back of the owners house so you have privacy but also security. I am a single traveller so it was very reassuring to have the owners next door. They are very nice and helpful and sorted out a couple of minor problems instantly. The studio is extremely spacious and clean. There is air conditioning and also a fan. I used the fan as the windows are louvred (with insect screens) so you can create a nice breeze. There is a huge wet room with a hot shower. From the terrace you can see the top of the cruise ships but there is no sea view. It would take about 5 minutes to walk to the sea and around 15/20 minutes to walk to the main town, driving time would be around 2 minutes. Because the studio is set up for disabled people, it is much larger than normal. It is fully equipped with everything you could need, including an oven and microwave. I came to Bonaire to windsurf and Lac Bay is 20 minutes drive away. I was met and taken back to the airport which was appreciated. Also a generous welcome pack was provided. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.
