Great Spot to Relax and Unwind
Kas Kris was in deal for this trip to Bonaire. It was comfortable and had the privacy I wanted. Good dive sinks and cabinet to hang dive gear. Nathalie the property manager was superb and even stopped in to make sure all was ok. Thank you for a great vacation

Relaxation at its finest
I have nothing bad to say about the Kas Kris Villa. It’s a very comfortable, convenient, relaxing, and private space that entices you to stay. Our only quarrel was we found it hard to leave the villa during the day due to it being so inviting, haha. Krista and Nathalie were extremely helpful with any needs, and made checking in and out a breeze. We would not hesitate to stay the Kas Kris Villa again, and were very pleased.

Excellent place to stay, but …
Kas Kris is excellent overall. There are some wonderful features: very quiet, total privacy, the pool. The location, kitchen and furnishings are all good. Nathalie was very helpful. But … two problems: The driveway is seriously in need of repair (don’t try it without a 4-wheel drive vehicle). And the mosquitos and flies were really annoying in the house. The mosquito nets on the beds help, but the problem is the doors. If you leave them closed, that keeps the insects out but makes the house too warm. If you open the doors, you get a good breeze and a lot of nasty insects. The obvious solution is screen doors. I don’t know why the owner doesn’t address these problems. Still, Kas Kris is still an excellent place to stay on Bonaire.

Great vacation at Kas Kris!
Thank you Nathalie for making our stay memorable, the home was very clean and comfortable. Upon on arrival snacks and cool brevage was delightful to have after our long travel journey. The kitchen was well equip if you like to cook and prepare meals while looking out at the sunset. We setup the outdoor dining table with the rechargeable outdoor lamps and have lovely dinner while listening the sound of the wind taping the palm leaves. Definitively need a car if you want to get around, roads are easy to drive. Get a SUV if you planning to visit Washington Park, parts of the road are pretty bumpy with holes and rocks. It was our first time visiting Bonaire, and won't be our last visit. Jump into the beautiful bleu-turquoise water and have fun looking at the amazing marine life that surrounding the island, don't miss out to visit Klein Island, we book a snorkel trip with Sea Cow it was a moving experience. One suggestion, will be to have a ceiling fan into the living room area. Thank you again Nathalie and Kris.

Lovely home!
We had a wonderful stay at Kas Kris for a week. The property is well furnished, and everything we needed was there. There was even a place to clean the scuba gear near the parking inside the gate. It was quiet and peaceful, with the birds singing every morning. I will highly recommend this location, and we will be back!

What a GREAT place!!
We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The property is VERY comfortable with all the creature comforts we needed for the entire week-plus. There was an issue with the refrigerator that was fixed as soon as possible and did not inconvenience much at all. We arrived later in the day on Saturday and Kris & our host Nathalie had some food and drinks waiting for us so we did not need to go to the market right away. The surrounding neighborhood doesn't look the best, but we never felt unsafe or uncomfortable. The yard and pool are very private. The villa even had it's own rinse tanks and gear locker for your scuba/snorkeling gear We will definitely inquire about staying here for our next visit to Bonaire. This place is first rate!

Very accurately described in the advertisement. We were generally happy, overall, with our stay here. Easy commute to the dive center and other stops of interest. Only issue was lack of lightning in the inside sitting area to read in the evening., very poor.

A wonderful stay in a well appointed home
This home had everything that we needed for our weeks vacation. The home is beautifully designed with a lot of outdoor space to enjoy the magnesium pool and tropical landscaping. Nathalie, the property manager, met us when we arrived and was super helpful with suggestions of what to do during our stay, supermarket hours, etc. The home was clean, and we especially appreciated the snacks and cold beverages upon arrival. We enjoyed watching the tropical birds and relaxing in the yard.

A Wonderful Stay!
A lovely stay in a more local area of Bonaire. The house has a spacious covered deck where we sat, when we were home, throughout our stay. The plants surrounding the house provide a wonderful seclusion from the neighbors and we spent lots of time reading in the hammock, swimming in the pool and chilling poolside. The style of the house is modern and we loved the additional Fatboy lighting. The house also has its own parking space in front of the door which is nice so you don't have to worry about whether you can park your car or scooter. We stayed on Bonaire for two weeks in two different homes. The communication with Krista was great as was the reception by Nathalie. She allowed us to drop off our luggage early so we could enjoy the day before checking in. We had a few small incidents occur during our stay and these were resolved immediately and professionally. Being more local, there are dogs in the neighborhood whom you mostly hear, not see. Overall we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this vacation home!

The villa was everything and more than we expected. It was well stocked with everything you could ever imagine and the pool is a must have to cool down in. Natalie was very helpful and was available each time we needed her assistance. She even had a welcome pack of drinks, evening snacks and breakfast. A week if sun and relaxation!
Let me start at the beginning. Communication and questions with Krista were responded to in a timely manner, and with helpful details. The home is a lovely property and the minute you putt through the gate and park amongst the lovely foliage makes you feel you have arrived at your slice of island paradise. Natalie is very friendly, helpful and readily available for any inquiries during the stay. The pool is DELICIOUS. An immediate entry after open your suitcase - to relax in the water with a cool welcome drink. The house is well appointed. The layout and space of the rooms is very comfortable. All kitchen amenities thought of. Even supplied a tote bag for the beach outings and bags for shopping. Bedrooms very comfortable with ac and low (but strong) overhead fans. Large outdoor table with evening lights, and overhead fans, make playing games and eating dinner a back to family time moment - rather than the normal on the go and everyone on a device! Wifi was good. Nice to have a dishwasher. The random baby lizards that break in the house are east enough to shoo out (for the city girl who can't be that as e toys). Mosquito netting helped make Sleeping comfy given ability to open all doors in living are to make huge islands breezes. Two rinse tanks came in very handy. As someone who has traveled many islands I am always I search of a more laid back and authentic no fuss no stuff island to enjoy the sun and fun. Bonaire fit the bill. Snorkeling was great. Hope to scuba certify for a return trip. Living in a non stop city and hectic daily life that you need to schedule time to breathe this vacation was totally in need and fit the bill to decompress enjoy and relax. And Kas Kris served as the PERFECT Base for all of it. Thank you Krista and Natalie. Hope to be repeat guest in the next year.

Fantastic holiday
We stayed at Kas Kris for 2 weeks in July and really enjoyed it. It looked the same as on the pictures and was even more beautiful. Looking at Klein Bonaire from the outdoor shower was fantastic. We loved the seats/chairs etc. outside so you could sit in different places. We also liked the outside Fatboy lamps, we will buy them in Holland as well, which will remind us of Kas Kris every day in the future. The mosquito nets made us sleep very well. There is a well equipped kitchen with enough plates/cups, etc. There were a few snorkelling sets in the house, which was very handy. Special thanks to Nathalie, who gave us great tips on things to do, restaurants, etc. and provided us with some snorkelling shoes. She was very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home in Kas Kris. If we ever come back to Bonaire we would stay at Kas Kris again.

Yet another wonderful stay
Another wonderful month spent at Kas Kris. Lots of birds, iguanas and goats!! Beautiful weather that allowed us to enjoy the pool numerous times a day. As usual, the entire property was spotless and everything worked as it should. Big props to the property manager and the cleaner who do a fantastic job in keeping everything immaculate and in working order. This was our umpteenth time returning to Kas Kris and we will absolutely come back to this property, as we just enjoy it so much.

Reserve this home. You'll enjoy it.
My wife and I stayed at Kas Kris in early April, 2022. Here is our subjective and objective review of Kas Kris: • Communication with Kris prior to our stay was great. If anything, I should do better and provide more timely responses to questions. • The value received for what we paid was worth it. The home, location, amenities, etc are inline with the price point. • Out hostess, Nathalie, was responsive and attentive. She greeted us warmly with snacks and cold drinks on our first day. • Upon our arrival the house was clean and turn-key ready for guests. • The propane grill was great. Our previous rental had a charcoal grill which is a bit of a pain with the winds on the island. • The pool inflatable and noodles were a welcome surprise. • The rental includes reusable grocery bags and an insulated soft cooler. • Unless you’re ~2m tall, you won’t have much of a view of the sea. • There are a few loose deck boards on the patio that could present a tripping or stubbing of a toe hazard. • Mosquitos and other insects are abundant across the island and it’s no different for this rental. Consider bringing items to help keep them at bay. Additionally, there are no screens for the front door and sliding doors to the patio. Mosquitos and even a bird made their way into the rental because of this. • Due to the proximity of an adjacent unpaved parking area, the pool required skimming twice daily. • For approximately two hours each day (4-6PM) there is no shade on the patio. A sun screen would be a welcome addition. • The optional “fat boy” lights worked great. • This is a perfect sized home for two people. Four to six people won’t be terribly crowded but keep in mind only the master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. • There are US and European electrical outlets. • Traffic along the road to the rental was tolerable given the limited options to get to the Santa Barbara area of the island. • The patio/pool area does have visible privacy from the neighbors, but you will hear them due to the close proximity of their homes. While nothing is ever perfect and everyone has different likes and dislikes, we would stay at Kas Kris again in the future.

I originally booked this property in 2020, but had to cancel due to COVID. Kris was so helpful throughout it all that I decided to book it again for this year. The property is very pretty and well stocked with anything I could have imagined. The property manager was also very nice and available when needed (not that we had many problems). Overall, the experience was great and I would definitely book again.

Another wonderful time spent at Kas Kris. There are many reasons we keep on coming back! We love the abundance of birds and lizards around the place. The house has a great pool with quite decent privacy. There is a great property manager on call should you need anything. It’s sitting in a great location with a nice view and good breezes. It has all the appliances we would ever need for a vacation. Even little things like mosquito netting on the beds (why all places don’t do this simple thing is beyond me), are appreciated. All that to say we have come back many, many times and have already booked our next stay.

Wir haben die Zeit in der Villa KAS KRIS sehr genossen. Die sehr nette Managerin Nathalie hat uns freundlich in Empfang genommen und sogar den Kühlschrank mit Leckereien gefüllt. Vielen Dank auch dafür. Der Pool ist einfach wunderbar und die gesamte Einrichtung der Villa sehr geschmackvoll. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Great Property, Great Owner, Great Manager
The property was fantastic, especially the outdoor space. Both the property owner and property manager were also very nice and a pleasure to work with. My girlfriend has an allergy to down feathers. All of the pillows in the rooms were down (very comfortable) so I called the property manager asking if they had any pillows that weren't down or could recommend a shop where I could go pick some up. Later that day she showed up with some really nice pillows she had purchased so my girlfriend could sleep comfortably. This was my group's third trip to Bonaire and we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Kas Kris again.

Wonderful stay
During my diving holiday in November 2019 I stayed in the Kas Kris house. Already the second time this year that I have chosen this beautiful accommodation during my stay on Bonaire. The house is well maintained and has a modern design and layout. You can enjoy the evening sun in the lovely swimming pool with a view of Klein Bonaire and the garden around the house. Nathalie who manages the house will receive you hospitably on arrival. She answers questions quickly and adequately. A house to come more often.

Very nice place - as expected. Great outdoor space and would stay there again. Very well equipped and great privacy. Couple of very very minor things to be away of: there's no hair dryer, there's no microwave, and in the mornings if the previous day was cold and cloudy there's only luke warm water (which is pretty typical in Bonaire with solar heaters)

Beautiful home on Bonaire
We can't thank Krista enough for sharing her beautiful hone on Bonaire with us! The home is gorgeous and well thought out! We spent every morning and most evenings outside enjoying all the lovely seating areas and wonderful magnesium pool. Lots of room to spread out and read, sunbathers etc. The neighborhood was quiet, and we loved seeing all the iguanas, parrots and other birds! Nathalie, her property manager is excellent at her job. She was waiting for us at the home on arrival day and had stocked the fridge with essentials for the day which was so nice! She checked in on us throughout our stay and at checkout as well. I'd highly recommend a trip to Bonaire of you haven't been. Several places to buy groceries were a short car ride away, as was The Real Dutch Bakery (try the sugar bread).

Lovely home - Lovely stay.
My husband and I spent a week at this lovely home. There isn't a single complaint about this home - it is gorgeous, super clean, QUIET, and outfitted with everything and in a great location. The beds are SO comfortable, the views are gorgeous, the wildlife (parrots, many other birds, iguanas, etc.) are all SO much fun to watch from the multiple comfortable sitting places outside and the glorious pool. The pool is absolutely wonderful and I love that it's not chlorine – so much better on the skin! My husband and I are not scuba divers, but we both love to snorkel and LOVE the beach. There were plenty of wonderful beach options and SO much to explore on this magical island. I cannot wait to return. While we were at the house, I tried to book for November, but alas, it's already booked (sad face). Krista was an absolute pleasure to deal with leading up to our stay - she made it so easy and she is so knowledgeable about the island! If you’re even considering booking here, do not hesitate, just book it – you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful stay in a wonderful villa
We have just returned from a 2 week holiday staying in Kas Kris and we've had a fab time. The owner Kris has put a lot of thought into her beautiful home and it really shows. The amenities in the villa are just right, the garden is very pretty and private and full of birds which keep you smiling with their antics - especially the parakeets! :) The pool is the best place for a cool off and because of it's position doesn't get full of leaves etc. every day even in the wind. We were met at the airport by the property manager Nathalie who is a lovely lady and very helpful, knowledgeable and more than capable of dealing with any queries that may crop up. We didn't have any problems just the odd question and she was so easy to contact and deal with, probably the best property manager we have dealt with in the 11 years we have been visiting Bonaire, a great asset to a great set here. Kris is great to deal with also, we didn't need to contact her so much as everything about the villa is clear and fully explained but when I did e-mail I got a reply quickly and without fuss. I could go on about all the pros for renting this villa but looking through other reviews, it's all been said. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Kas Kris to anyone unless you want to be in the middle of town. This place is in a nice quiet neighbourhood and it's well placed to get to locations north and south. The only downside we had was the unfortunate problem with the neighbours behind the villa have a chained up dog in their yard that barks constantly day and night. It must be through boredom as it never gets taken out for walks etc, the poor thing but this has nothing to do the owner of Kas Kris and is just one of those things that can't be helped. I know Nathalie has tried to get things improved but it's a situation out of both her's and Kris' hands so you just have to go with it. It's a small thing and the only 'issue' we had in the entire 2 weeks. KAS KRIS has what we never knew we wanted
The person that has build and decorated this villa has clearly been renting ‘hideaways’ like this all his/her life. Of coarse there is a fan ánd AC in every room, but the natural airflow through the house is probably the best thought-through feature. Super comfortable beds and 3 strong showers, of which 1 is outside. A well equipped kitchen for (at least) 6 people, a good coffee machine, a huge fridge + strong freezer, a brand new washing machine and dishwasher and almost too many spots outside to lie in the sun (including a hammock) or sit in the shade. Oh yes, and a magnesium pool instead of a glorified one!! The only disadvantage we thought was that it is situated on a hill, which turned our weekly shopping trips on our rented bikes into one big, horrible workout. But it does give you a nice view. If we saw - from the pool - if there was a cruise ship in the bay, we stayed at home. If not, we went to Coco beach, where you get free beach beds if you tell them you’re staying at Kas Kris. Apart from a wandering donkey, once, the nights are dead quiet. If you want to have noise, drinks or dinner out, you’re in the city centre within 10mins, by bike. We didn’t need much help, but the caretaker lives around the corner. We could call her at any time of the day. She picked us up from the airport and helped us whenever our groceries where too heavy for our bikes. We will definitely come back.

Heerlijk
Kas Kris is een heel mooie woning op een prachtige plek! Hartelijk ontvangst door Nathalie met ook voor 1e avond en ochtend al wat te eten en drinken in de koelkast: fijn na een lange vlucht. Het huis is voorzien van alle gemakken, schoon en ruim. Er zijn veel dingen die je dan ook niet hoeft mee te nemen: strandlakens, muggenspray,.... In de keuken staat olie, kruiden, etc (alleen even aanvullen als er wat op is). Heerlijk zwembad (zonder chloor) en spoelbakken voor duik/snorkelspullen. Het contact met Krista vooraf was heel prettig, op vragen werd snel geantwoord en ook ter plekke voldoende info over het huis en de omgeving. Komen graag nog eens terug!

Loved it the first time, came back for a second time
And will be back for sure again. This is very nice property off the main road and well situated on the island. The place is immaculate and it has very open style. As you can imagine, we enjoyed the refreshing pool quite a few times. All the necessary conveniences are there (dishwasher, oven/microwave, washing machine, etc..). Some very nice touches (e.g., mosquito netting around the beds, easy air conditioner to help you sleep better at night) make the place that much better. We stayed for three weeks and we could have easily stayed for three more weeks! The best part of the property are the many birds (parrots!) and lizards (iguana and regular small lizards) that roam around nearby, making you truly feel like you've escaped to a warm country! Also kudos to Nathalie the local property manager for taking care of us! She does a great job!

Comfortable and convenient family getaway
Kas Kris is a lovely property. The owner was very easy to contact and very helpful in planning. Her manager, Nathalie, was very pleasant, readily available with concerns and responsive to our needs. The home is lovely, clean and comfortable. We had a fabulous time diving all week and loved having our own home to come back to at the end of the day!

Heerlijk!
We hebben het heerlijk gehad in Kas Kris, lekkere bedden en een fijn zwembad! Het is rustig gelegen, precies wat we zochten, s'avonds op het terras lekker geborreld. In de tijd dat wij er verbleven waren er wel erg veel muggen, toch 3 flesjes Deet moeten gebruiken maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken. De informatie over het huis en de omgeving was keurig verzorgd door middel van een informatieboek en een dressoir vol folders en boeken. Wij komen vast een keer terug! Groetjes, Rick & Bina
