“Not a fancy area by any means, but a very safe area even if you walk late at night alone. Streets are busy and full of people and life. Very clean place. Friendly staff. They do not speak English, but there is nothing that sign language and Google Translate can’t solve. Lots of food to eat and shopping to do around the area, and you are a short walk or a bus ride away from many important places in Istanbul. The area may seem strange to some Westerners who have never experienced such a place or……

“I made the mistake of booking this hotel without reading its reviews on Google. This was a terrible, terrible experience. The room that we were given was extremely tiny even though it's advertised as huge. The shower was broken, and flood water at the bottom. The breakfast was COLD, and the coffee machine was broken. I wish I had never stayed here because everything they claimed to offer was broken or just not there. The only positive was that the staff were kind. They moved us to a different……
