“Easy self check in. Kitchen is extremely well equipped for cooking and baking plus air fryer and slow cooker and rice cooker. Great communal areas including outdoor areas which were usable in the bright winter days we were blessed with. Good showers one upstairs bathroom and one downstairs bathroom. “As a frequent traveler, I have stayed in many motels, but Village Resort Taupo stands out as one of the best. The apartment was spacious, impeccably clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is superb - it's just a 2-minute walk across the road to the lake, yet the motel itself is very quiet and peaceful, away from the crowds at the lakeside. I will absolutely be returning to stay there on my next visit to Taupo.”
