Shimpei is legitimately the best host of any property that I’ve stayed at using any app. He was extremely helpful upon our arrival, had self-curated many local guides and recommendations and was easy to get ahold of and helpful. The property is modern, comfortable and suitable for anyone. We were extremely pleased with our stay.

A wonderful place to stay!

We really enjoyed our time at this property! Shimpei was very kind and thoughtful, and was always willing to help us with whatever we needed. The property was very clean and well-maintained, very comfortable, and stocked with lots of amenities to make our stay more enjoyable. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the area!

A Taste of Living as a Local

The guest house was a great break from the bustle other areas in Kyoto but easily accessible to all the main attractions. You get a real sense of what it’s like to live as a local while in walking distance to Daitokuji one of the less touristy but beautiful temple complexes. Shimpei is a wonderful host who goes out of his way to suggest restaurants and activities. He is always available to help with such hospitality. We highly recommend this guest house!
