깨끗하고 예쁜 시골마을에 친절한 주인
이곳 숙소가 있는 마을이 시골마을로 너무 조용하고 좋았음. 교토의 명승지도 좋았지만 개인적으로는 이 시골마을이 너무 좋았음. 그리고 일본인 주인분들이 너무 친절했고 한국인을 반겼고 숙소도 아주 깨끗하였으며 진심을 다해 열심히 게스트하우스를 예쁘게 운영하고 계신 것 같았음

A long bus ride from Kyoto Station
Pros: The proprietors were lovely and super helpful. Went out of their way to answer questions. The area in NW Kyoto is a long (35-50 minute?) bus ride from Kyoto station, but once you are out there, there are several temples within walking distance. We visited Ninanji, Roanji, and Kinkakuji all within walking distance. We are big walkers so it might be far for some (1-2 kilos between?), but probably an easy cab ride. Good internet. Cons: There was a bit of a "hostel" feel to this hotel. I can't put a finger on it... the low ceilings, the plywood doors, the shared bathroom. Not sure. And, it is kind of far from Kyoto station. I speak Japanese but I can imagine it might be tricky if I hadn't.

とても親切に対応して頂き、非常に良かったです。 大雨で靴の中まで濡れるほど酷かったのですが、吸水用の新聞紙と代わりのサンダルを貸して頂く等細かな配慮がとても良かったです

Rustig pension in een buitenwijk
Dit was de beste overnachtingsplek van onze vakantie (van zes verschillende) vanwege de vriendelijke en persoonlijke benadering van het echtpaar dat het runt. Zij waren zeer behulpzaam en betrokken. Het ontbijt was ook heerlijk.

静かなお宿
ツインのお部屋にもう一台ベッドを置いてもらい３名で泊まりました。ホテルだとエキストラベッドですがツインと同じベッドだったのでよかったです。朝食は洋食でパンのおかわり、飲み物のおかわりのサーブはとてもよかったです。 前回は息子の受験でパンが苦手の旨伝えたら白米を用意して貰えてとても助かりました‼ 機会があればまた是非利用したいです‼

Personnes très acceuillantes, un hôtel qui semble un peu loin du centre mais assez pratique avec les bus , on peut acheter les pass journée sur place. Pour une nuit c'est trop loin , mais pour 3 à 4 nuits ce qui était notre cas c'était très bien. Il y a en face un petit resto japonais qui fait de très bon sashimi.

I had a great stay at this hotel. Has everything any chain city hotel in Kyoto could offer, plus great value. The owners are really sweet too, beyond simple professional politeness. Breakfast includes fresh salad, which I also found to be considerate because restaurant food in Kyoto often means lack of fresh vegetables. 10/10

LeBlanc Pension Utano
It's a cute, small, reasonably priced hotel. The facilities were easy to understand. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Amazing Hosts!
I was looking for a quick, reasonable, no frills place to stay so I could explore Arashiyama when I found LeBlanc. The rooms aren't fancy but they're clean and comfortable, which was exactly what I needed. The best part about my stay? The host and hostess were completely warm, friendly and wonderful making me feel like home. If you're from the US, it was as close to a New England B&B as you could get! I'd highly recommend and will be back on future business trips when I have a large block of time off. ™
