Staff members were kind and the service was top notch at the lounge. Good selection of adult beverages during the included happy hour. Rooms were clean, spacious, and self-care kits were provided. A highly recommended stay and would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Very clean and large room at a great location close to the subway. Our room included breakfast which was a set menu but sufficient. We were served complimentary tea/coffee snack and later liquor and snacks. Only thing lacking is room service and a multi crusine Resturant! However no complaints

This is a wonderful modern property with plenty of space and is beautifully designed and furnished. I can’t say enough about the staff, they were so kind and very accommodating. Tea time and Cocktail hours were our favorite time of the day. It was just a nice place to relax and slow down after a day of running around in this beautiful city. The cakes and other sweets served were decadent. The hotel is very close to the subway, dining and shopping areas. This will definitely be our number choice for our return visit to Kyoto.

It’s a nice new hotel in convenient location, within walking distance to n attractions . We enjoy the free afternoon tea and evening drinks. One thing we don’t like it’s the shower room. It’s a see through glass. If you’re with a friend, it’ll be no privacy!

Great location with easy access to fascinating historical sites via nearby subway. A short walk to Nishiki Market. Attentive reception, lounge and dining room staff. Well appointed room with excellent bathtub. The only negatives were the lack of bedside tables and the motion sensor light in the toilet room which was a bit harsh for those midnight jaunts to the loo.

Medium sized property, reasonably priced, and in a good central location. Very clean. Comfortable beds and adequate size rooms. The “Public Bath” is a large hot tub. Very clean and relaxing after a long day. Breakfast was fine but expensive at $30pp for scrambled eggs, toast, two bites of cut fruit and coffee. After the first morning we we had breakfast at a lovely boulangerie just 2-3 blocks east of the hotel. The evening lounge with free wine, beer, alcohol, and soft drinks was a nice treat. The hotel is located just steps to the subway entrance. You can also easily get a cab when you need one.

The best hotel I stayed in while I was in Japan (stayed in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka). This hotel felt like luxury! Free snacks, drinks, and appetizers and hotel was gorgeous! I loved our room and wished we stayed longer. It was super convenient to get to any destination in Kyoto since the subway and bus station are within a block.

Royal Park iconic, Kyoto is located in central Kyoto approximately 12 min ride to Kyoto station. if you book a premium room, you get free lounge access with snack and drinks every day you stay there. service from the hotel staff is impeccable. great location and highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kyoto.

Had a wonderful stay at the Royal Park Kyoto! The staff was super helpful, and the access to bites and beverages at most hours of the day is such a wonderful addition. Vanity amenities were great, pajamas provided were super soft, and the location was very central for our stay. Room was super modern, clean and spacious. We loved our experience!

From the moment the staff reached out as we were running late, till the moment we checked out, we felt incredibly welcomed. I’m heavily tattooed (like head, hands, throat, etc), and we were allowed to use the onsen which is open till 1:00 AM. Super close to Karasuma Oike (like 100 yards), so you can take a train to basically anywhere with a transfer. Cannot recommend this place enough, and I’ve stayed in Japan before.
