"My friends and I came away very pleased with our no-frills wilderness camping on Rod's property. He has the best view of the Huron Mtns I've seen, with a better perspective on the south faces than Pt Abbaye. They really lit up in the sun with peak color all over. We also loved his sweet dog Max, who quickly pivoted from intimidating bark at strangers to "dare you to try to take my stick" playfulness in seconds.I would go back in a heartbeat, but I did take off 1 star for listing accuracy only...

"The cabin we stayed in was very cute and quaint. It was clean and the hosts were really nice and accommodating. They responded quickly to any questions we had and were open to any suggestions as they recently purchased the property. We love that they are pet friendly since we always travel with our dogs!
