Hotel 99 Cannelle is a gem. From the lobby, to the rooms and to the breakfast room, the interior is a work of art. Breakfast is fantastic and filling, the staff is welcoming and super-super nice. A special thank you to Serena for making our stay at Hotel 99 one that we will fondly remember.

For English speaking traveler, staff was friendly and helpful. Location is very nice and close to Fontana Novantanove Cannelle. Downside was only construction on Main Street, to access the city center most direct walking route requires walking up a few hills, and a few noisy dogs in the area. Well priced, good breakfast, incredible staff, and nice accomations.

The room was clean, the air conditioning was great. A range the breakfast items were available. We were a give a double bed and a single sofa bed. The springs could be felt through the sofa bed, it was very uncomfortable and gave my husband a backache. We spoke to the receptionist who wouldn’t change the room or the bed. Told us we can book another room. The advertising the of rooms is not as we thought it would be a twin room as we selected that but the wording stated “or double room” so they didn’t do anything. I wouldn’t stay there again due to the uncomfortable bed.

What an absolute treat. Wonderfully friendly staff (that spoke English, which we appreciated), very nice room that was clean and well-appointed, and an excellent breakfast buffet made this one of our favorite stops on a recent Italian road trip. Wish we could have stayed a few more days!

Super-nice, clean and very friendly hotel. It's about 15 min walk (up hill) to the center... but in l'Aquila everything is up and down the hill. The hotel property is excellent shape, and the rooms are large and convenient. Would stay there again without a blink!
