「The staff were very good. Welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and pleasant. Due to renovations the restaurant had moved to a room normally used for events. The meal was outstanding and service wonderfull. Would happily return just for the cuisine. Will look forward to comkng back after the restaurent is ready.」

「Comme à la maison ! Hôtel atypique, de standing avec une vrai proximité pour ses clients. On est très loin de la chaîne en termes de confort, de déco, d’accueil. Les chambres sont superbes et le lieu est magnifique. À l’écart du bruit tout en étant à proximité de Villefranche sur Saône, c’est le lieu idéal pour un arrêt. Merci à l’équipe 」

「Das Hotelgebäude besteht aus mehreren zusammengebauten Häusern am Rande der Altstadt. Schon aufgrund dieser Aufteilung und der geschmackvollen Restaurierung mit vielen liebevollen Details ist es ein Schmuckstück. Der Garten, der fast schon ein Park ist, das Plätschern des nahegelegenen Flusses und nicht zuletzt die Fußnähe einer bezaubernden Altstadt mit Markthalle und vielen Läden und Cafés gibt Anlass, nicht nur für eine Nacht zu bleiben. Sehr empfehlenswert. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. 」

「The stay at Hostellerie Sarrasine was more than lovely. The grounds are well kept and beautifully tended. The room was traditional and had modern technology. The best part was the food and service. The Famille Bévy had the most delicious French food; their cook incredible. The Bresse chicken is a must. The wine options phenomenal. The Famille Bévy were accommodating and so very warm to us. Would highly recommend this place for any looking to warm the soul. 」
