Justin Trails is such a special place. My sister and I have been going for many years with our two dogs for a weekend getaway. Donna is a wonderful host and her breakfast is amazing. The miles of trails are beautiful and well maintained. Check in and out is super simple and we can’t wait to return!
Unique relaxing and comfortable place to unplug. We are so happy with our experience there, everything was great! We will definitely be going back. It was a great place to make our home base while enjoying the area
We enjoyed the most lovely sunset here with the sweetest family llamas- Porter & Stout, who we also got to hand feed! Hubby and I rented the presidential suite for a quiet evening away from the kids, and we left feeling SO refreshed. But, now we’re booking our return WITH the kids in the Paul Bunyan cabin which they will absolutely love! I can’t recommend this retreat enough. The family history of the property is so fascinating, and early May was a perfect time of the year to enjoy some Spring sunshine without bugs. Thanks for having us!
Our stay was fantastic. Exactly what my husband and I were looking for: quiet getaway in the country to focus on eachother without dailylife distractions. Our favorite part was that the place is run completely by family. Its a team effort there and all homemade food. The bed was super comfy and everything was very clean. We played the disc golf course for some fun and a great way to see the property while getting a little exercise. The stars and bonfire at night were highlights. There is great dining supper club style nearby too. We plan to return with our kids for the frisbee golf course. Highly reccomend!
We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to another cabin. It was pristinely clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was amazingly delicious. We had a very relaxing stay and Donna gave us excellent suggestions on what to do in the area.
What a great place to visit and stay! We booked the Presidential suite which was part of the old farmhouse. Very comfortable and clean. Donna made sure we started each day with fresh coffee and a wonderful breakfast. There are two very friendly llamas on the property which kids would love and many hiking trails and Frisbee Golf. There are many lodging options on the property. Only negative we had was wi-fi and cell service. wi-fi was spotty and I doubt strong enough for streaming. We got zero cell phone signal on the property, so keep that in mind if you have to stay connected for some reason.
The B&B itself is nice/unique. Plenty of hiking trails and disc golf course. It’s also close to bike trails, and the breakfast was good. I was pretty turned off by the owners. The pictures showed a fireplace in our room. Turns out it is electric. When the daughter was giving us the tour she couldn’t figure out how to work the electric fireplace, so she handed me the remote and said, “I don’t know. You’ll have to figure it out.” That shouldn’t be my job. The next morning my daughter and I went for breakfast. The food was good and we were the only people there, so it was quiet. After, I was making simple small-talk with the owner and she started complaining to me that since I had made the reservation through “Expedia” (we made the reservation through Hotels.com) that she wouldn’t get paid for a few days and they would take 30%. It was a very strange interaction. I shrugged it off and went on a walk with my daughter. We stopped to look at one of the other cabins as we were the only people there. The owners daughter also said that they don’t lock the doors and take a look around the barn and such. It was a cute little cabin and I thought maybe we would like to come back and reserve that one. The owner stopped in and I said, “We were just having a look around. We might want to come back for biking in the summer.” She said, “Well, I guess you own the place.” I told her I didn’t really understand that comment and to have a nice day. She just shrugged. Very strange...
We had a great stay! It’s a rustic cabin setting, so keep in mind that it’s not the cleanest setting and there were bugs. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful grounds and meeting the llamas.
Justin Trails was perfect from the beginning of our stay until the end. Donna was great and getting us checked in and settled in our space. The property was so large and we enjoyed an early evening hike and then sat on our front porch to enjoy the views. The bed was perfect and the accessories in the room made it easy to have a small dinner just the two of us! The morning was perfect because we were able to enjoy a storm roll through while sitting comfortably on the porch. We would recommend this place to anyone who is heading in that direction!
Perfect Getaway,
The friendliness of the staff. They seemed accommodating and very helpful

I booked this property thru Expedia, my booking was then cancelled by the property owner because she stated that the room was being renovated. Not a big deal in itself but trying to get my refund was difficult. I ended up making the phone calls and being put on hold multiple times myself to get my money back. I think there was little to no effort on the owners part to rectify this situation.
We stayed in the Paul Bunyan and this cabin is top notch. It is so clean and the bed is SO comfortable!!! Don and Donna will do anything to make your stay perfect, they are so hospitable it adds the perfect homey touch to your stay. My family had the best time enjoying the property, relaxing on the porch swing, building a fire and letting our dogs run around the disc golf course (feeding the llamas was fun too!). We ended our days in the jacuzzi whirl tub with lots of bubbles! This resort is tucked away so if you're looking for a relaxing spot to unwind this is it.
