Sea View from the Comfortable Terrace / Large Open Kitchen / Dining Room / Living Room. 2 air conditioned bedrooms, 1 large bathroom / separate WC. Closed private entrance to park your car. Pool and Garden common to the other 2 adjacent apartments that can also be booked to privatize the whole if you are many.
SPECIAL OFFER FOR 2 PEOPLE - valid only for 2 people sharing 1 double bed, 2 persons in separate beds and more will count as extra beds.
THE PLACE: Sheltering a mangrove (so no beach) and preserved tourism development, La Gaulette is a small fishing village appreciated for its authenticity and for its proximity to both the most beautiful stretches of fine sand on the west coast and Chamarel with many sites to enjoy in the region, including Seven Colors Lands. You can soak your feet in the sea just down the road and paddle to Benitiers Island right in front to enjoy its beach or rather go to Morne for the nearest one. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the magnificent Le Morne is also world famous for its Kite Surf Spot.
You will understand, the apartment offers a superb sea and mountain view, but does not overlook the beach.
CHILDREN THEN! Children are valuable to us and welcome to our home. However, they count in the capacity of our accommodation and we can not accommodate them for free regardless of their age. Thus, in accordance with the insurance conditions and tourist laws and regulations, the fees for additional guests as well as the limit occupancy capacity apply. Please indicate their numbers and ages before booking. Baby cots for children under 2 years are available on request. INDEPENDENT RENTAL: Your accommodation rental is self-catering and you are therefore responsible for its maintenance during your stay and return the clean accommodation to your departure. The essentials (toilet paper, garbage bag, soap, cleaning products, etc.) are provided upon arrival, but it is your responsibility to replace them and ensure your consumption. On the other hand, for a duration exceeding 1 week, a change of sheets and bath towels are provided, to let you free to change as you wish (the apartment is equipped with a washing machine and the necessary to household).
HOUSEHOLD SERVICE: This represents a large portion of budget, if you do not want it you do not have to bear this cost (logistics, laundry, salary, transportation and staff declaration among other expenses). Your rental does NOT include the services of a cleaning lady. We chose not to include it in the cost of renting to be affordable for all types of vacationers and to respect the privacy of those who prefer not to be disturbed during their stay. For those customers who would like a little help with household chores, as detailed below we offer in addition payable at check-in, several service options to meet the needs of each. (Please ask for a quote based on your length of stay). Option A0 - Purely Self-Catering: Reserved Automatically by Default. The apartment comes with a set of sheets and spare towels for your autonomy to wash and change as you wish. Option Departure Cleaning Package: MUR 2,000 - In addition to option A0 if desired - included in options A1, A2 and A3. Option A1 - Housekeeping Service Once a Week: Cleaning assistance, plus change of sheets and towels + Departure Cleaning included (ask for a quote depending on the length of your stay) Option A2- Housekeeping Service Twice a Week: Cleaning assistance, change of linen once a week and towels twice a week + Departure cleaning included (ask for a quote depending on the length of your stay) Option A3 - Housekeeping Service Three times a week: Cleaning assistance, as well as change of sheets every 5 days and towels 3 times a week + Departure cleaning (ask for a quote according to the duration of your stay).
INDISPENSABLE VEHICLE: Although you enjoy walking and want to experience the folklore of public transport, we strongly recommend that you rent a car. Indeed the most beautiful beaches and other sites are not accessible by public transport and there is no taxi stand at La Gaulette, so a motorized vehicle will prove very practical! For our guests, we also offer car rental services and we can help you organize the transfer from the airport and organize various excursions. You just have to ask!
THE HOUSE: Nestled on the heights of La Gaulette with a breathtaking view of the Ile aux Bénitiers and Le Morne World Heritage Site; We fell in love with this spacious house with incredible charm potential. Freshly renovated, we realized 3 very spacious terraced houses (about 110 square meters each) and not identical of this beautiful property. Each house has its own stamp, which makes them unique. In this way and according to availability, it is also possible to book all 3 apartments to accommodate more than 12 people and so enjoy fully with family or friends, the garden area and pool.
TROPICAL ISLAND = TROPICAL INSECTS: They are tiny and harmless, however, mosquitoes can be nuisances and our local geckos are not enough to chase them all. Although mosquito coils or coils are effective indoors or outdoors, we recommend using a mosquito repellent to move freely, especially in the summer and at night.
Having the chance to occupy this region of the island still somewhat preserved, or the fauna and flora have kept some rights, we share the place with the animals and insects whose habitats surround us. Inhabitants of the accepted cities, be reassured, the island is pacifist and its small animals too!
