Amazing chalet for a group of families

We love the place and we booked to come back next year! Gilles was communicative and helpful, the place was beautiful and comfortable. We were worried about driving up to Montchavin but it was fine and we always found parking even in the mêlée of half-term week. From here were able to ski all the way to Champagny on the La Plagne side, and in Les Arcs down the Aiguille Rouge.

Ski et détente

Le chalet est vaste, bien équipé et proche de la station de ski de Montchavin. Néanmoins pour skier il faut prendre sa voiture car le chemin menant à la station est raide et verglacé.L’annonce n’est pas assez précise sur la nécessité de commander les draps et serviettes de bain en supplément.

Un chalet spacieux et accueillant

Nous avons passe une excellente semaine au chalet, tres bien equippe et chaleureux. Notre groupe a profite de l'interieur comme de la terrasse et du jardin. La grande table de jardin avec bancs tout autour etait parfaite pour les repas. Nous avons apprecie le confort des chambres avec salles de douche / bain attenantes. La cuisine est tres bien equipee pour les grands groupes. A recommander!

Chalet super cosy

Très chouette chalet dont nous avons bien profité. Espace suffisant pour tous (nous étions 10) et deux chambres étaient encore disponibles. La cuisine est super bien fournies pour y cuisiner et y stocker de la nourriture. Le rapport qualité- prix est très intéressant. Les oeufs sont atteignables en voiture, comme annoncé. Cela n'a posé aucun souci, il y avait beaucoup de places de parking. La communication avec les propriétaires s'est super bien passée également.

Great location and nice house!!

It is only few minutes away from Les coches, cafe’s and shops. The house are full of equipments, kitchen is not so big but complete. The sauna needs to have a bit of privacy. The owner was easy to contact when we had problem with the washing machine and also for checking in. All in all it was a great place for ski vacation and we will surely book it again if we are going back. :)

Well hosted spacy atractively chalet

Good sized bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Cosy living room that even with 14 guests feels not too crowded. Kitchen is well equipped only the dishwasher is not suitable for this many guests, this calls for a professional machine in stead of a consumer type. We enjoyed the evenings around fireplace. The sauna is not what you expect in this type of chalet, it is small, without any privacy and relaxation facilities. The jacuzzi seems to be only available in summer, would have been nice in winter too.

Tolles Haus mit viel Platz und guter Ausstattung

Sehr schönes Haus mit vielen Zimmern mit eigenen Bädern und viel Platz. Schöne Aussenterasse und gute Einrichtung. Dieses Haus kann man nur weiter empfehlen.

Superb Chalet in an excellent location

This is an excellent well equipped renovated chalet 5 minutes drive from the Montchavin lifts to La Plagne. 11 of us stayed for a week and this is one the best chalets we have used over 15 years of skiing around France. The bedrooms are spacious and the bonus of having en-suite in each was a treat. Loads of relaxation space in the joint living room/dining area which would easily accommodate a full chalet at the table, as well as a kitchen with everything you need - including two raclette sets. Heated boot storage downstairs and parking for at least 5 cars directly outside. the views across the valley were stunning and the area is beautiful and very quiet. The drive each morning to Montchavin was easy and we had no problem parking there. There is a new large LeClerc supermarket in Aime on the way to Montorlin which was useful to stock up in. Also the Skimium hire shop next to the Sherpa in Montchavin rented us our ski gear and we stored this equipment there overnight to avoid lugging it back to the cars and unloading each night. Excellent service. In fact everyone around Montchavin was kind and helpful making this an excellent holiday. Thank you Gilles!

Lovely cosy place for large group

We, a group of 9 adults and 6 children, just spent a lovely week at the chalet of Gilles and Isabelle Aymard. The kitchen is very well equipped and in particular the large stove which always for elaborate cooking is worth mentioning. Each bedroom has a nice bathroom and we never ran out of warm water despite several people taking showers at the same time. The fireplace, with wood provided by the owners, provided a cosy feel to our experience. Despite our large group we never felt crowded in the chalet and the children had enough place to play. The chalet is closely located to the village of Montchavin, 15 min walk and 2 min car ride, and we were always able to find a parking space in the local parking area, which is not far for the ski lifts. Overall, good value for money and we definitely consider coming back here next year.

Très agréable châlet

Châlet très agréable, bien équipé et au calme. Les pistes sont à 2 min en voiture et nous n’avons eu aucun pb pour trouver des places pour se garer à proximité du premier télésiège en pleine période de vacances scolaires. Le châlet est très bien chauffé et du bois est à disposition pour utiliser la cheminée. Bon rapport qualité/prix, Isabelle et Gilles furent charmants, nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Magnifique et conforme à nos attentes - A refaire !

Le chalet correspond à notre attente. Nous étions 10 adultes et 7 enfants entre 2 et 6 ans . Le confort était excellent pour tous grâce notamment aux salles de douche ou de bain équipant chaque chambre. L'équipement général du chalet est aussi très complet et moderne. Seul petit bémol, le frigo est trop petit pour un tel nombre de personnes.

Séjour très agréable

Joli chalet, bien entretenu, spacieux, confortable avec sdb pour chaque chambre, terrasse bien exposée avec mobilier adapté. Belle vue sur les montagnes. Idéal pour groupe. Seul bémol, 2 sdb très petites, mais on s'en arrange, on est en vacances !!

Rien à dire, superbe chalet...

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille, le chalet est encore mieux qu'en photos, 7 chambres avec 7 salles de bains (et 7 écrans) c'est quand même bien sympa et pratiques pour l'intimité de tout le monde... et puis les propriétaires ont été aux petits soins... vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés...

Superbe

We just spent a perfect 12 days in this beautiful home which was perfect for our needs (16 +2 babies) The kitchen is superbly equipped the bathrooms clean, spacious and modern, the bedrooms comfortable with lovely views There is ample indoor and outdoor space accommodating all of us. The garden is gorgeous with super be views and the large hexagonal table easily fit our 2 families making mealtimes enormous fun Isabelle and Gilles are gracious and helpful hosts and their caretaker Cathy was simply wonderful We will definitely return Juliet and Muriel Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux au chalet D'Isabelle et Gilles Le chalet était parfait pour notre deux familles incl 2 bébés Rien ne manqué dans la cuisine,les salles de bains étaient modernes et impeccables et les chambres a couchée très confortables La salle de séjour ainsi la grande table sur le patio nous permettaient de manger ensemble en commanderie le jardin avec la vue magnifique sur mont blanc Isabelle et Gilles étaient très gentilles et disponibles pour tous nos questions et Cathy était un vrais ange Nous espérons de retourner Juliet et Muriel

Très confortable

Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique en grand groupe familial dans le chalet. Son organisation interne est idéale avec une entrée au rez parking donnant sur un grand hall permettant de déposer les affaires de ski et de se changer, chauffage sol donc ambiance très agréable et séchage des affaires sans problème, nombreux porte-manteaux . A ce niveau : trois chambres avec espaces d'eau et buanderie. Au niveau intermédiaire, 1 chambre avec salle d'eau, cuisine très bien équipée, vaste séjour confortable avec feu ouvert , grande table familiale le tout donnant sur une vaste terrasse en bois pourvue de tables et jouissant d'une très belle vue sur la vallée ainsi qu'un jackusi bien entretenu. Au niveau supérieur, 3 autres chambres bénéficiant chacune d'une salle d'eau avec wc, dont la chambre parentale avec bain. Les chambres sont grandes, aménagées avec goût. les planchers sont authentiques et très chaleureux. Chalet très bien chauffé, bien équipé, bien lumineux. Les espaces sont suffisants pour permettent l'intimité de chacun. Le chalet est très bien entretenu. Pour ce qui est des désagréments : certains lits ont un matelas un peu mou, il y a peu de prises électriques (désavantage pariés par les propriétaire qui mettent à disposition de nombreux blocs prises) nous aurions aimé disposer de transat pour mieux profiter de la terrasse (là aussi, ils existent mais non communiqué). Chacun jugera de la localisation en fonction de ses besoins, nous disposions de 3 voitures sur place, cela ne nous a pas du tout posé de problème. En définitive, quelques bémols légers mais qui ne portent pas ombrage à une belle semaine dans un cadre merveilleux, A refaire !

bon séjour

Chalet de bonne facture situé dans un petit bourg au calme. Pour accéder aux pistes, commerces, bars/restaurants il est effectivement nécessaire de prendre son véhicule pour un court trajet (3min) sans que cela soit une véritable contrainte. Bon rapport prestations / prix. Impression globale très positive malgré quelques regrets : gérante omniprésente (3 x 2H dans la semaine), check out un peu tôt (9H00) et température jaccuzi limité à 35°.
