New favorite!
I’m almost afraid to say how good this house is, because then it will be harder for us to book it again! We rent houses for family vacations several times a year, and we are very picky. This house was perfect for our family in every way! We had plenty of space for everyone to spread out, which was important since we were there together for two whole weeks. Three members of our family were working remotely during this time, and there was always someplace they could get away to work in quiet or take a phone call. The house had everything we needed for an extended stay. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for the meals we prepared there. There were plenty of bath towels and pool towels. Three separate living areas had plenty of comfortable seating for our family. The backyard was our favorite part. It’s beautifully landscaped with an amazing pool and hot tub. We spent hours every day swimming and relaxing on the comfortable outdoor furniture. Chris and Michelle are helpful and attentive owners. They gave helpful tips and answered questions from the time we booked until our stay ended. We appreciated everything they did to make our stay comfortable and the fact that they were only a text away! Staying here enhanced our Spring Break in every way, and we can’t wait to come back!

Great Stay for BNP Tennis
We stayed here for a family vacation to watch tennis at the BNP Paribas. The house was wonderful. Great location with easy commute to the tennis tournament. Our hosts were very accessible and the whole process went very smoothly. Would highly recommend!

Siblings New Years Reunion
This beautiful home is well appointed and clean. We enjoyed the beautifuly landscaped back yard and heated spa. The game room with pool table, games, puzzles, and TV were perfect for relaxing evenings and watching football. There is plenty of space for 6 adults to relax without feeling crouded. The kitchen is well equiped for cooking, the appliances worked well, there was plenty of hot water for 6 adults, the linens are fresh, and the beds wonderfully comfortable. This home fully met our expectations for a family reunion. We would definitely rent this home again.

Amazing family getaway
This was truly an oasis in the desert. This was our first visit to La Quinta and this place was everything we had hoped for and more, giving our family a quiet place to relax and enjoy the beautiful property. The location was great, close to all the necessary amenities while still providing the privacy and comfort of a home away from home. Our kids loved being able to enjoy the incredible pool and seating areas throughout the backyard as well as the many board games/pool table in the loft. Chris and Michelle were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this home for families young and old.

Great Stay
The property was lovely, clean and very comfortable. The owners were great with communicating and even came by to drain the pool as there was a rain storm. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and had plenty of room to hang out. The pool was clean and nice, it has a shelf step which was perfect for the little ones. One thing I really enjoyed was the water pressure, lol. I know it’s silly, but it’s really nice to shower with great water pressure after being in a pool all day! Overall we would totally stay again!

Family Vacation
What an amazing stay! The owners were amazing… from booking to arrival and throughout our stay. So thankful to have come across this property. Traveling with opinionated teenagers and young adults can be challenging… but when all agree hands down this was their favorite vacation that definitely speaks volumes! We will definitely book again.

Third visit as good as the last two!
We've stayed here three times and it's been fantastic every time. The owners are great people, very nice and quick to respond. The house is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Stocked with everything we needed for our visit. Big yard, lovely pool, toasty spa, big gas grill, pool floaties and toys for the kiddos. All we needed was our swimsuits and groceries! Close to shopping (Target, Sprouts, Kohls, etc.) in case you forget something. We'll be back!

This location was appealing because my friends and I could invite our partners and have our kids play in the pool. The beach like pool entrance was perfect for kids. We played games and had lots of fun. We all had a pleasant stay.

Amazing home in ideal location
This home has everything! Enough space that 4 of us had our own separate areas and plenty of privacy. A beautiful secluded backyard for relaxing. Gorgeous pool that we spent hours in. Beautiful home! Wonderful hosts!
“Desert Haven” is a beautiful, spacious home that is very tastefully decorated. The yard is huge, nicely landscaped and very inviting with a lovely pool and hot tub. Extremely comfortable inside and out for our group of 8. And hosts, Chris and Michelle, made our stay hassle free. They made arrival and departure incredibly easy, were immediately available and overly considerate . We had a great week and plan to return!

Really pleased with our stay at Desert Haven! Not only was everything very guest oriented (simple instructions, thoughtful amenities/supplies), but also everything was well kept and clearly looked after. Key niceties: - beautiful open layout with well matched furnishings - coffee, wine (and cookies!) waiting for us, the weary traveling family (so very, very appreciated) - comfy beds, including a kids bunk room with a kids desk and little fun surprise toys inside - beautiful and spacious backyard with plenty of outdoor game options (cornhole, soccer, bocci) - easy to use spa controls with indoor control and temp monitor (great for the cooler winter nights) - lots of well kept pool toys, floaties, beach towels - great cookware and kitchen appliances - laundry well located on the main level, ready to use - stocked showers with pretty astounding water pressure and shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers - well kept billiards table in the loft game room - tons of game choices, both for kids and adults - full sized ping pong table - etc. Bottom line is that this is a well cared for owner-managed property that makes extra efforts to make things easy, relaxing and resort-like. We very much appreciated the chance to enjoy all the owners thoughtful planning and upkeep!

Absolutely beautiful!
My family and I stayed an entire week. It was a memorable experience. The house and pool were perfect for us. Clean, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool table in the game room too! During our stay, there was a sand storm, a haboob, that came through the desert valley creating a mess in the backyard and pool. The owners were AMAZING!! I received a text within minutes of the storm from the owners offering to come out and clean the pool and patio. There was a heavy layer of sand and leaves everywhere. They took care of it the next morning and everything was perfectly clean again. Absolutely wonderful communication and attention. We loved the extra treats that they had for us when we first arrived. Excellent experience and highly recommended. Thank you both so much for everything!

Fantastic stay!!
We had such an amazing visit at this house. The pool is absolutely gorgeous, you feel like you truly are somewhere far away and tropical. There are tons of pool floats and toys to use. The house has so much space - great for multiple families - and has everything you could possibly need and more - board games, books, and a super stocked kitchen. Everything was super clean when we arrived with very clear instructions for using things in the house. Chris and Michelle are wonderful hosts. Communication was so easy and they even had treats waiting for us when we arrived. We would definitely rent this house again and highly recommend it.

Great Staycation
The pictures online do not do this home justice. Beginning of the pandemic (2020), we started a new tradition to take our kids on a "mini" staycation (we are from LA) the week before school starts. By far, this home has been the best. The property is in excellent condition, the neighborhood is nice (close to all the stores), excellent communication with the owners and the pool is THE BEST! We were prepared to pay the additional cost to heat the pool, but the owners advised the pool is pretty warm and did not want us to spend extra money. They were right and saved us money (WIN!). If in the La Quinta area, this is the place to stay.

Family week in Palm Springs
This is a lovely property and our hosts were wonderful. We stayed one week with our adult family and grandchildren. The home had absolutely everything we could have anticipated needing. Is perfectly set up for families with lots of options for socializing, quiet spaces, games, pool time and privacy. The yard is beautiful - nicely andscaped with spaces for both quiet relaxation and poolside visiting. The pool is gorgeous and perfect for small children as well as adults. There is some street noice over the back fence but not a distraction.; otherwise the neighborhood is quiet and private. Michelle and Chris are gracious hosts. They were so responsive to all of our questions and requests and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. On behalf of our whole family, thank you so much for a great vacation.

Michelle & Chris were amazing hosts! The whole interaction was seamless. They were extremely accomodating for our party of 9 when we had half of the group arriving early. Was not a problem with Michelle & Chris and they were extremely flexible with our requests. The home is very well maintained with excellent decor (everything felt cozy and personal), and felt very safe. The property definitely gave an 'at-home' atmosphere, and all the amenities & household appliances that we needed were provided. The backyard/pool is GREAT and really gives off great vibes. The property was very clean upon arrival, and we made sure to keep it clean on our way out - making sure to take any trash out before our departure. Definitely a great property to book for anyone looking to bring their friends and family for a stay in Indio! Other aspects to note: - Within a 5 minute drive to major stores (groceries, gas stations, restaurants, etc.) - Hosts are extremely attentive, acommodating and respond very quick pre, during and post VRBO stay. They made the whole stay extremely easy and were a pleasure to communicate with. Would absolutely look to rebook again if we return back to the city! Thanks Michelle & Chris!

Fabulous holiday at Desert Haven!
Thank you, Michelle and Chris! Your home was absolutely perfect for our family get away to celebrate our 40th anniversary. The grandkids had a supper time in the pool and we appreciated all the pool tools and floaties. Such a beautiful home which gave the 4 adults and 3 children ample space to feel comfortable. Did I mention the pool table and location? A very welcomed retreat from the north.

Wonderful!
We greatly enjoyed our week in La Quinta in large part because of this beautiful home and its most kind and considerate owners, Michelle and Chris. The house is spacious, easily accommodating nine of us, and very tastefully decorated. Each bedroom is quite distinct. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and met all of our meal preparation needs. The enticing pool and the expansive, well-manicured, very private yard are big additional benefits. Michelle and Chris were a true pleasure to work with. They responded promptly to our questions and even anticipated our needs. Plus, the day after we returned home they sent us a photo of two items we had left behind and offered to send them to us. That was a first for us! Needless to say, we're planning to return.

Very clean home
Great location for Indian wells tennis. Amazing backyard with beautiful pool and views of the mountains. Plenty of room inside and enjoyed playing pool.
