Not a five star hotel

I chose this hotel because it’s so close to the harbor and my kid could get 10 more minutes sleep on the day for our speed boat trip. But the prayer at 4:00 am was rather loud, I respect the culture but … then actually my kid had a lot less sleep! And then 6:00am, crazy loud music was playing across the street (we were on the hill side). I left the fruit from breakfast box in the fridge and at night, papaya was molded! Breakfast on 6th floor was not organized. I ordered a latte and need to go get my coffee at the bar or it will never be my turn! Finally, I dialed to the front desk, and no one ever pick up!

The hotel is very clean and beautiful view of the harbor. It’s convenient walk to restaurants and shopping just next to it. I feel safe walking around the town. The staff are excellent people and very helpful.

While the room and staff were very good. We were placed on level 5 which was below the pool and bar, which plays loud music all day and late into the evening which we could hear in our room. Note go for a sea view room as the Mountain View we had had the mosque just down the road and you can hear the morning sunrise prayers. (Which we did not mind as you are in a Muslim country). We also did not get the VIP services promised by Expedia

A good stop for those who wish to worry about nothing but enjoy going out during day time and return at night. Very convenient since it’s by the pier, just hop in into boat for diving or snorkling trips. Food is also very good and all amenities are in excellent condition. Very well maintained property.

Stunning views, friendly staff and amazing breakfast. Need to book the sea view room - then you dont hear the early morning prayers amd you ger free shittle to the airport and foot massage. The harbor can be noisy, because there are old boats passing by but this did not wake us up. For sure the best hotel in LB!

It’s right in the marina area and real close to the fish market. A bit loud at night with the boats coming and going, but otherwise beautiful property.

Friendly staff and very helpful to ensure stay in the hotel is enjoyable to all guests. Good selection choices for the buffet breakfast scenic view oversee the harbour. Had a room with seaview, spacious and clean, only the horn & engine noise from the boats/ships can be a little disturbing otherwise the stay is fantastic. Good job to all staff of Meruorah Komodo LB and will stay in this property again .

Pickup and transfer from airport to hotel was fast. All staff I've encoutered are truly friendly and smiling. They allowed me to check in at 12:30, without charging extra. Area around hotel is safe and very walkable. Breakfast was delicious and a plethora of choices for good. Room was exceptionally clean.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, overlooking the bustling harbour. The small roof top pool is a real plus. But this is not a 5 star hotel, it fell well short, only one tatty old bath towel, no hand towels; room small and dated. Charged us £29.60 for two glasses of read wine which were undrinkable, the bottle had been open for days and then ignored our complaints and would not change it, even when we left it undrinkable. We had a similar experience with breakfast £22.75 for two breakfasts, when the price on Expedia is £10 for two. I just felt ripped off. Divina one of the staff was very helpful with sorting out problems with our airline check in. So if you want a central location, book a sea view room and stay here, and pre book breakfast, but eat and drink outside the hotel if you don’t want to be ripped off.

Excellent location and view. Room was fantastic. I only stayed 2 nights but this was very easy if you are planning quick, one day boat trip to Komodo islands. Dinner / barbecue was good. Breakfast buffet had many choices and was very good. There was not an a la carte option. Live music on Saturday night. I would stay here again especially for convenience on a short trip
