Room was nice and pool has a pretty view. Staff was helpful during check in, but we asked for early breakfast twice over two different days and they agreed to it, yet when we came down at the agreed time, no one was there- might just be a understaffed or miscommunication though.

A fun and unique place to stay, with incredible ocean views! As other reviewers mentioned, there are a lot of stairs/difficult walkways to navigate, so this is not accessible for everyone. However, if you are capable of making the journey, it is well worth it, for a hotel unlike any I've experienced before. Just manage your expectations; this is a tree-house/cottage vibe; you will feel at one with nature and your accommodations are very private, quaint & cozy. We enjoyed it and we would stay here again!

Beautiful view but lots of stairs

Beautiful view but there are many steep stairs to get to the rooms. It is more for a romantic stay. The restaurant was good but limited. There is a nightclub in the other side of this hotel and you can hear the music until late at night.

The room itself was okay, but unfortunately there were quite a few things that made our stay less enjoyable. The bathroom was located downstairs, below the actual bedroom, and you had to use a very steep and uncomfortable staircase to get there. Once downstairs, the bathroom felt quite unpleasant and very claustrophobic. Honestly, I barely wanted to go down there. There were lots of gaps in the walls, and although the AC was working constantly, the room never really got cool – so be prepared for a pretty sweaty night. We also had ants crawling around on the floor, and unfortunately discovered that they had even made their way into one of our suitcases. In the morning, we counted seven beetles on the bathroom floor downstairs. I refused to go down there without wearing flip-flops. The doors were also difficult to close properly because they scraped against the floor. There are a LOT of stairs to reach the accommodation. That wasn’t a huge problem for us, but it’s definitely something you should be aware of before booking. The hotel is also located in a rather dull area, and the road leading to it is poorly lit at night. The gardens and outdoor areas around the houses could definitely use some more care and maintenance as well. So overall: an okay room, a bathroom we really didn’t enjoy using, but a beautiful view! For the price, it was acceptable – but nothing more than that. One big positive was the staff. They were helpful and carried our luggage all the way up!

The worst stay in Indonesia in 5 years

From service to facilities, it was a terrible experience. The staff is incompetent and unhelpful. The check-in process was frustrating, it seems they didn‘t have our booking in the system for 2 rooms. The rooms were still being cleaned even though we arrived in the evening. The water in the shower didn‘t run. The AC didn‘t work. The doors didn‘t close. The curtains on the bed smelled. The wifi barely worked. The way up to the receptions and the rooms is very steep, maybe difficult for less fit people. Also this is an expensive accommodation for what they offer. The only good thing about this accommodation is the view.
