「Really lovely stay - friendly staff in a small pub in Combe Down open for evening meals during the week, and open for lunch onwards at the weekend.
We had a lovely welcome, preordered breakfast for the next morning which was really delicious, and was shown to our room upstairs. A lovely view of the white horse in the distance and a comfy bed, with lovely furnishings. We would stay again.」

「We were not told there would be a wedding in progress so the music was quite loud until 11pm.
There was no option for early takeaway breakfast at 8am, and no option for room only.
The restaurant still set up for wedding, with chairs stacked up.The female staff in the restaurant were very nice and the food excellent, something a bit different.
Our shower head kept falling down & the toilet flush handle broken.
The room was spotlessly clean.」
