“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Blueslate Cottage in Curraweela. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the warm and friendly hosts who have truly created a peaceful haven.The cottage itself is rustic and cozy, yet very well-appointed with everything we needed. “This beautiful spot along the Abercrombie River was the ideal setting for a getaway with friends. Our group of six stayed in the Barn, which exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and amenities. The Barn is designed perfectly for a group, with comfortable beds, open style living and an amazing kitchen that is well-stocked with quality cooking equipment, making self-catering a breeze. “We had a wonderful stay at Taralga Terraces - Whiting's Store and loved the town. It was cold so we made the most of the combustion fire and the beds were cozy and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms had all the amenities we needed. We ventured out to Wombeyan Caves and also had dinner at The Argyle Inn which was fantastic. Crookwell is also a lovely little town. Lisa was a great host and easy to communicate with. We would love to come back to this centrally located property.”
