Great location

Great location at ground level. Minor issues - 2 soiled pillows on sofa & refrigerator water dispenser not working. I was surprised that Papakea Resort charged $17/day of stay to use the pool & hot tub. This is the first time in 40 years in HI I had to pay for this standard amenity.

Overflow space

We used this for overflow bed space/bathroom so really didn't use the unit beyond that. It is nicely decorated, the bed is comfortable. The kitchen nicely appointed and appears to have anything one might need. However, the fancy refrigerator is not connected to a water supply so there is no ice maker. A definite negative. Papakea is exceptional as a property/resort. It is possible to walk on the beach all the way to Black's Rock (about 1.5 miles).

Great location and easy ground floor access. Our unit, E110, was well furnished & clean. Detractions were inoperable filtered water on refrigerator and two soiled blue pillows on sofa. We were charged $17 per day to use the pool. First time in 40 years in HI we had to pay extra for pool.

A Hidden Gem

Beautiful property with that "Old Hawaii" charm, yet in the middle of all things, Maui -- Ka'anapali, Whalers Village, The Rish Market, all of our favorites. I would come back to this location.

We have stayed at papakea countless times & we thoroughly enjoyed this unit. Perfect for little ones to be able to run around the gorgeous grounds!

Amazing Papakea

Our stay was wonderful! The unit was fully equipped with everyrhing you could want including beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards , snorkel stuff ( we didn't need that) and a wagon to put it all in to take back and forth to car. The pool and hot tub were great and the view spectacular! It was a short walk to the beach in front of next resort as this resort did not have beach front ( the ocean comes right up to the wall). The location is fantastic...great morning walks along path to Black Rock at the Sheraton in Kanapoli. Within walking distance we found an awesome bar that had live music every night. I highly recommend this resort!

Quiet and clean! Amazing resort

In walking distance to a small beach. Close to everything by car, the rental property has two pools and plenty of amenities to stay comfortable. The unit has everything you need for a comfortable stay!

We loved staying at this unit. Location Is central to grocery, ABC, restaurants, farmers market and beaches. Unit had everything we needed from coffee makers to beach toys. Perfect place for a great Hawaiian vacation. Thank you
