Hi Tracee! We're so glad you had fun at our mountain home. Thanks for being so respectful of the neighbors, and for letting others know how peaceful the neighborhood is. There's plenty of places to let loose in the Village or at nearby bars and restaurants, but the house and surrounding area definitely have a more chill vibe. We hope future guests will read the dozens of 5-star reviews below, most of which comment on how spotlessly clean the house is. We did partially refund this cleaning fee, no questions asked. Though we’ve never had a complaint like this before, we take guest suggestions seriously, and our cleaning crew has been made aware. We would like to address some general points that came up during this particular stay: *The house is in the mountains. Wintery weather happens fast (in fact, 6 inches of snow fell during this weekend). From late fall to early spring, outdoor furniture is protected with covers. We let all our guests know about the covered furniture before arrival, and allow them to remove covers and use cushions stored in garage if replaced before departure. *Trash should be put at the end of the driveway before departure, so the next guests have clean cans. It’s the considerate thing to do, and costs extra for a special pickup. *Please do not hang, bang, or yank on appliances. They can break, even a new, months-old refrigerator, which fortunately is still under warranty. *The spa will be sparkling clean on arrival, but you might want to rinse off before using. The tub is small and will get dirty if you are dirty. *Let us know if something needs fixing. We never expect guests to repair anything and we'll get to any problem as quick as possible. Just give us a call or text, day or night. *Finally, we only expect honest reviews, which are the best way for new folks to know what to expect, and help us as hosts make the place even better. We were hesitant to add this, but we will never exchange a good review for money. For years, this has been our recipe for making happy guests, and we hope you’ll be our next!
