Snow White’s Cottage is switching over to white linens and towels for a fresher look in the spring. - A thorough cleaning of the cabin is provided before each booking. A deep cleaning of the property is now underway for the spring as well. - Couples and small families enjoy the cabin and the flexibility of having more space by using the sleeper sofa to sleep up to six guests. However, the maximum occupancy will be lowered to four guests and one pet. Five or six guests and additional pets will be allowed on a case-by-case basis. - The photos depict the size of the cabin, and the square footage is listed in the description. Guests can determine if the space is appropriate for their needs. - The kitchen is well-stocked with dishware, utensils, and a 10-piece set of stainless steel cookware. - Trash and recycling collection is early in the mornings before checkout time on Mondays and Tuesdays, so if a guest checks out on these mornings, they must bring their trash to the curb for collection. Whenever possible, I offer to take the trash to the curb for guests if their checkout falls on other days. - Lake Arrowhead is a mountain community at 4000 feet of elevation, and snowfall is to be expected in March. It is customary for owners to provide a driveway clear of snow for guests’ arrival. Three shovels and an electric snow blower are available to guests if snow falls during their stay. I am now including winter tips for guests, such as parking facing outward and closest to the street. I also recommend a gardener who may be available to help shovel snow daily or on the way out for a reasonable fee.
