“The house is very nice. In a small neighborhood. It’s on the southern end of Lake Charles which means less traffic. Still close enough to get to your favorite eating spot in no time. Since we were coming for a downtime weekend, we enjoyed the oversized couch and big screen tv. There is a utility room in the garage with a laundry set. Perfect to wash clothes before coming home. Highly recommend! The owner was great about responding if you had questions. ”

“This property had everything we needed and much more. You can tell the hosts care about their guests, as they thought about all the details. There wasn’t a thing we needed that wasn’t provided. The house and pool were very clean, and overall it was a very comfortable place to stay. The hosts are great at communicating quickly, and came across as incredibly nice. 10/10 would recommend and we’ll definitely look into staying again when we’re back visiting family. “Kitchen table permanently sticky. BBQ was dirty, broken down (the grating was full of holes) and very difficult to use, and the BBQ area was dimly lit. The beds were very uncomfortable (for us) and the plastic covers on the mattresses made them hot and sweaty. The separate fan controls controlled BOTH the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms simultaneously , which made it impossible to adjust each bedroom separately. “Jamie’s place was very accommodating for our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the toiletries were well stocked for our two-night visit. I also appreciated the privacy — no nosey neighbors. The space was well-decorated and kept very neat. My only small suggestions would be adding a pair of kitchen scissors and darker bathroom towels.
