Lake Hopatcong Lake House w/Private Dock and Grill

Come relax, spend some time and make memories at our beautifully renovated, lakefront home on the shores of Lake Hopatcong. Conveniently located 10 minutes from Route 80. With a modern interior, spacious living space, and your own private dock. Enjoy the lake with our complimentary two paddle boards, two kayaks and a canoe. We are minutes away from all there is to do on Lake Hopatcong, you'll be longing to extend your stay at the lake.

The space
Our two bedroom, one bathroom 950 square foot lake house provides plenty of space for a group of up to six to get to enjoy lakefront living. Wake up early, brew some coffee and walk out to your own private dock to watch the sunrise or stay up late visiting the seven different bars and restaurants on Lake Hopatcong. If you'd like to stay home and cook in, you can prepare a delicious meal in our well appointed kitchen, with a Weber grill outside on the patio. With brand new mattresses you'll be sure to get a great night sleep waking up ready to get back outside and explore the four mile hike to Liffy Island and back from just down the road. Our home offers easy private parking for three cars, with a flat lawn and easy access to the dock and lake. Our home also has only 10 stairs outside our home and is conducive for guests who have challenges with walking but our home would not be considered handicap accessible.

House was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We didn’t need to purchase any paper products & could have left most of our toiletries at home (shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand soap). Host was pleasant & quick to reply to comments. Bed was comfortable (which is a big plus). Everything was explained thoroughly in the welcome binder. Appreciated the labels/guidance throughout the house. Lake is beautiful. Washer & dryer in basement, detergent & dryer sheets were available. Lots of things to keep a family busy - games in house & basement, including ping pong. Everything was as described. There are about 10 steps up to house. You can fish off of dock. Enjoyed our stay & would recommend to others.

Very cute and comfortable place to stay. We were busy with wedding activities during our stay but the house was very enjoyable and relaxing to return to after a long day. It was decorated nicely and very clean. Close enough to NYC to spend a day there. Hosts were attentive and easy to reach if needed. Loved this little place and will definitely stay again when in the area.

House was cute and comfortable, host was great with communicating. Weather wasn't the best, but you can't control that! I went on a couple of nice hikes. Husband fished off the dock. We got some great food that wasn't far away, one within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

1. Pictures are a little deceptive as the lake is across the road, not in your backyard. Still a very nice & comfortable cottage2. Wish Eric & Marissa were more warm and welcoming, they were very stern & inflexible in their responses 3. Nevertheless, we met very amazing and friendly people all over Lake Hopatcong…very warm & helpful. Kat at Main Lake Market was the kindest soul, helped us in getting dinner reservations and arranging a boat ride for us. The staff at Lola’s & Windlass were super friendly. Michael at Windlass looked after us very well. A big shout out to Mark for the boat ride and making my husband’s birthday extra special.

Clean and Uncluttered

We found the cottage to be very clean and uncluttered. It was very comfortable for the 2 of us. Though we ate only breakfast in there were ample supplies and cooking materials if you wanted to eat in. We were very comfortable there and would recommend it.

Fabulous Lake Retreat

Our family had the best time at this Lakeside property! The house itself was clean, tastefully decorated, and had all of the comforts of home. The beds and bedding were very comfortable too! How nice to be able to do some work overlooking the lake, and have our coffee sitting on the dock watching the ducks swim by. The neighborhood and area were great, and we loved having the paddle boards and kayaks to explore with. We will return in a heartbeat!

Comfortable for extended stay near family

We found this very comfortable for our stay. Love the decor and all the plants. Beds were comfortable which we greatly appreciated given our extended stay. I can imagine this would be even better during the summer months when we could use the patio area and kayaks!

A Perfect Getaway

This cottage is by far the best property we have rented. And we have stayed in many. It was immaculate, well stocked and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect for us. The hosts are amazing. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Hopatcong.

The house is located in a quite neighborhood. Very short distNce to stores shopping and food. This house was the perfect get away rental. Owners are fantastic to deal with. Eberything you could possibly need is provided. I will shorly be renting again.

The house was perfect, had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The AC and hot water heater worked incredibly. The location was great, walking distance to some bars and restaurants, and a short drive to other place’s of interest. The only thing is if you want to rent a boat you must check what the state of NJ requires you to have to rent boat. The suggested restaurant were spot on, great food and locations. Would come back with out hesitation. Thanks for a great vacation!!!!

A Very Cozy Stay

What a wonderful stay. It's a cozy, tidy house with plenty of space to spread out a bit in the bedrooms and common area. It's right across the street from the lake in a very calm area. So peaceful. Had a lovely reunion with old friends - watching movies, playing games, eating meals. On our last night, it began to snow. Highly recommended for a pleasant intimate stay for friends or family.

Adorable lake House.

It was a short 4 night stay. Everything was easy to check-in. House inside was immaculate as if new. Kitchen was well stocked nicely and clean. Great bathroom, bedrooms so nicely setup. It's such an adorable lake House. I would definitely return and highly recommend to friends. The area is all about water green fishing, swimming, and boating. I wish we booked this in the heat of the summer to take advantage of all available at this home.

Great rental on the lake

This is a great lakehouse in a no wake zone section of the lake, with easy access to local restaurants and stores. Very clean and well stocked and comfortable. On the smaller side, but accurately listed and surprisingly functional for its size. Owners are very responsive and pleasant. We had a great time!

Perfect getaway

This little house was just perfect for our family vacation - adorable, comfortable, immaculately clean and well stacked with everything you need. The owners take real pride in ownership. The location was great, close to everything you need in the lake. Having kayaks and paddle boards available for us to use anytime, was a real plus! Highly recommend!
