A beautiful, comfortable house with quiet surrounding.

My whole family, that made up of nine adults, ranging in ages 23 to 81, were all very happy with the accommodations. Everyone had a bed, plenty of things to do and enough space to spread out or gather to enjoy their stay. The management company were very helpful and quit to respond to any of our needs. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone who asked my opinion.

Annual NC Get A Way

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Each year 3 couples get together for a week someplace in the North Carolina mountains. This year we decided to be a bit lower but have a lake view. Buffalo Shoals fit the bill. Great house with a nice view from the decks out back of beautiful Lake Lure. Plenty of room in this house for our group. Spacious bedrooms,a fantastic game room, a home theater and a great kitchen for our amazing cooks! We did enjoy a couple restaurants for lunch located on Lake Lure.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures do not do this house justice because with the natural light it was even more beautiful than you can see in the pictures. The view of the lake and mountains was amazing. Our 20's aged children used the hot tub , theatre room and pool table every night. It has a lot of great spaces to be together and plenty of space to be alone. We were a party of 6 adults but there was plenty of room for two families to stay together. The kitchen had more than enough supplies for us to make dinner every night and we really enjoyed using the "egg" grill. We had great communication from the owner about all the details of our stay. We enjoyed going tubing, white water rafting and chimney rock. We would definitely stay there again for another week next summer.

Beautiful Home With Views of Lake Lure

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Buffalo Shoals Outlook is a beautiful, spacious house with views of Lake Lure and blue ridge mountains. We loved the movie theatre room and used the hot tub daily. The kitchen was very well equipped and a dream to cook in. Beds were comfortable and the house was spotless. Communication with the management agency was seller.Sadly, our trip was interrupted by Hurricane Helene and the terrible damage in Western North Carolina. We so enjoyed our visit to the area and hope recovery proceeds quickly for the good people who live in the area.

Amazing Getaway!

My close friends, family, and I were in town for a bachelor party and we loved the property! The home had everything we needed to make it feel like home and we were impressed with all it had to offer. The house was clean and well taken care of and we'd love to visit again in the future.

Spotless, well-appointed and well-equipped, comfortable, with a convenient north-end location. The property managers were extremely kind, knowledgeable of both the area and home, and provided the correct balance of support without being over-bearing. The views, the movie theatre and game room, hot tub, and BGE kept us entertained while not on the run. The unusual heatwave kept us from enjoying the firepit. We played golf at both Apple Valley & Bald Mountain, toured the Biltmore & hiked Chimney Rock, rented a pontoon on the Lake. We enjoyed dining at the Lake House, La Strada, Victory (3x), Legends, and Black Mtn Bistro. We found the location very convenient (5-min ea) to Rumbling Bald, Apple Valley, Victory Kitchen; 15-min to south-end restaurants and Ingles grocery (btw best vacay grocery ever!); 25-min to Lake Lure Marina/Chimney Rock.When we return to Lake Lure, this will be the first home we check availability to stay! Thanks for hosting us and helping make our vacay outstanding!

Summer break with family

The home was very nice and well maintained. Our family enjoyed the setting with the lake view and many other features. We spent our nights in the movie room and lower level playing pool, cornhole, or cards. Great place for families with plenty of entertainment in the house and surrounding area.

Beautiful and spotless private residence with many activities to keep a family busy. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was stocked with everything, including spices. Kids loved the bunk room. Eleven of us had ample space. Super safe and secure. Easy check in check out. Wildlife was incredible by the firepit. We had a mama bear and 3 cubs visit the first evening! Deer and hummingbirds were abundant!A perfect home base to explore all the sites and attractions in the Lake Lure area.Recommend:Corn hole tournaments, s’mores by the firepit, movies in the theater, pool and poker games, coffee in the rocking chairs, cocktails on the balconies, climbing Chimney Rock, white water rafting in the French Broad, Hickory Nut FallsWe appreciate you SO much for having this gem polished for our arrival. Remarkable Time in a Special Place

We enjoyed staying at this property with my 93 year old mom. Very clean and for our purposes, perfect amenities. We enjoyed the home theatre room on two nights during our stay. Kitchen is very well appointed, and views were impressive. Loved it...love Steve and Sue Gage...and will hope to come again!

WOW!

This home was amazing! The kitchen is off the charts! The view is fantastic! The theater room is really great! We enjoyed the hot tub, the pool table and the jacuzzi. We were comfortable not even leaving the property. The fire pit was a lot of fun. We had a few day fires to enjoy. We'll definitely rent this property again! Highly recommended! The management was extremely helpful and responded to our questions immedialtely.

Great Mountain Views in a Beautiful Home

We absolutely loved our stay at this pristine property! The house was beautiful, clean, and well appointed. There was nothing that we needed that wasn’t in this house. The kitchen was FULLY equipped with high-end appliances and everything you could possibly need to cook. We particularly loved having the Big Green Egg because we have one at home too so we felt at home with it. The views were amazing and the fire pit outside made for a great afternoon. One major highlight was the full movie theater equipped with a sound system that is only matched in a real theater. I cannot say enough about this property! It is a definite must-rent if you are in Lake Lure. It felt like we were the first to rent this house because everything seemed like it was brand new. We come from a tourist area in NW Florida, so we understand how important a rental group is and these property managers were amazing. They were responsive and happy to help with anything we needed from the moment we got there until the time we left! We highly recommend this rental!!!

A Taste of Fall

The property never disappointed- from the views from every window, the great kitchen, movie night, rocking in a deck chair to enjoying an evening campfire around the fire ring. Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful week at Buffalo Shoals Lookout. The house was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was well appointed with everything in great condition. Check in and check out we’re seamless. It was also nice to have the property managers close by in case of a problem (there weren’t any problems). Highly recommend this property!

Great stay!

The property was truly perfect with fantastic lounge spaces and close proximity to activities. We had a large group so the number of beds was great, and having so many community areas was a treat. Hosts were responsive with questions and the place had all the basic amenities you'd need. Can't wait to come back!
