This charming 3-bedroom, full bath Lake Milton home with central air is a perfect place to escape your worries and decompress. It's located close to Craig Beach, the public boat launch, Halliday's Winery, Lake Milton Golf Club, various restaurants, and Lake Milton State Park which offers activities such as boating, fishing, walking trails & hunting. Kent State University, Youngstown State University, the University of Akron, and University of Mount Union are all about 30 minutes away, making this a convenient accommodation for college visits. For a minimal additional cleaning fee, up to 2 dogs weighing no more than 50 pounds each are welcome. We regrettably ask that you please refrain from bringing your beloved, feline family members with you because we've had unpleasant (and costly) experiences in the past.
This cozy home sleeps 6 adults comfortably and will accommodate an additional teen/adult and baby. The first floor queen bedroom is located a short distance from the centrally located full bathroom with tub/shower combination. Upstairs you'll find two bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and another with 2 twin beds and space for a twin sized air mattress and/or pack n play (both provided). Each bedroom features it's own smart TV and the first floor bedroom has a desk for those who want a private place to get some work done or use the home's Wi-Fi to browse on their personal laptop computer.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, place settings, cookware, and utensils. It includes a table for two, with an additional dining table that seats four in the adjoining dining area.
In the family room, there are comfortable couches and another smart TV, allowing you to keep up with your favorite shows and movies by logging into your own streaming accounts. There are also an assortment of board games, playing cards, books, and a table tennis/ping-pong table. The electric fireplace offers added ambiance on colder evenings, filling the room with a warm, peaceful glow.
Outside, you’ll find a patio table with six chairs, along with a firepit surrounded by additional seating. It's a great space to watch the kids and/or dogs play, make s’mores and enjoy conversations by the fire. A grill is also available if you like to cook outside. The expanded driveway accommodates 4-5 vehicles for convenient, off-street parking. There is a security camera on the side of the house that captures the driveway and entryway doors. (There are no cameras or listening devices inside the home.)
For added convenience, this home includes a washer and dryer, fresh bath towels and bed linens, and a starter supply of hand soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. We are excited about the possibility of hosting you and are available to answer any questions before and throughout your stay.
