“This is a great place to stay. Right across the street from the beach, you can sit on the deck and watch the sunset while enjoying a drink, swim in the heated pool or sit by the outdoor fireplace. Just minutes up the street are lots of restaurants and shopping, all within just three or four blocks of the hotel. The staff are super friendly, and it is in a very quiet part of town. I am definitely going to stay here next time I am in Carlsbad!”

“My favorite hotel all the time!!!!”

“This a nice little motel walking distance to the beach. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were neat and clean. Rooms were quite as well, did not hear much of other guests during our time there. Small kitchen is using for light meal prep. Initial room we checked into had two issues - a window at the back with no blinds and so hard for light sensative sleepers. Second the shower had no water pressure. The hotel staff moved us to a new room ( with a better view ) that addressed both……

“This hotel is located right next to the beach and many other great restaurants in town. However, the facilities are dated: the bed will move, not enough tables in the room, dishes are not thoroughly cleaned and really really thin wall. You have to walk down to the lobby if you wish to borrow a hair dryer. Although my reservation clearly indicated that "breakfast included", all they had was some fruits and cookies. The lady at the reception desk in the morning was really unfriendly, she did not……
