“Location is good a little walk to the lake, but a beautiful view. How cozy the house felt. The hot tub was nice after a long day to relax and unwind. My husband and I love to go rock hunting. He’s a geologist so going to Lake Michigan was our number one priority and it did not disappoint. It’s only a little over an hour drive from the house. We also got to go to Mackinac Island, which was really cool to see the horse and buggy all of the bikes and we got to see the arch rock so cool to see in……

“This house was great for our girls weekend! A lot of bunk beds, but we did our best to make it work. Some of our group are older women and it was not safe for them to adventure to a top metal bunk bed, but we were aware of that when we booked. Not a negative, just something to consider. The lake is very "mushy" and not really swim worthy, but a nice view! The indoor pool is AMAZING! The host is wonderful, very responsive and understanding. “The property was great. Lots of places to hike and explore. The lake was beautiful with crystal clear water. The bottom was sandy but due to the Lilly pads and weeds if you wanted to swim you need to get in at the end of the dock. Fishing was good with a lot of nice bass and a few northern pike 20-30 inches. There were 2 canoes 2 kayaks and a rowboat along with life vests. But be aware you may need to share because there are 2 other places to rent on the property. The Ranger house was well……

“Everything about our stay was perfect. The home was comfortable the second we walked in with the AC pumping on a HOT day. The kitchen was fully stocked and had all the stuff we would've had at home. The basement, which we didn't spend a whole lot of time in, was big enough to house a second family and the outdoor space was great if you were hosting multiple people.”
