Weather was mostly good but turned bad in NorthEaster at the end.The steps from the dock to the water were very slippery. They need some sort of non-skid.We found a number of roaches both alive and dead. We were all guys and, so, just dealt with it.

Perfect getaway spot for family

We had a fabulous time at this cute cottage on Lake Waccamaw. We were able to bring our boat at dock at the house so we had easy access all weekend. The owner was awesome and very helpful. The house was clean and had everything we needed. 5 stars for sure! We will definitely be back! And highly recommend this home!!

Fine for the weekend

House was fine for the weekend, had enough kitchen stuff to make dinner and lunches….had corn hole boards and plenty of parking. Definitely could use a deep clean on base boards and corners of the bathrooms…but host was receptive…location was perfect overall exactly what we needed…

Beautiful Sunrise

Early season fishing was slow but productive. The property is very convenient to the public boat ramp (less than 1/4 mile) so easy access. And the beautiful sunrise over the lake is worth an early morning wake up. Qaint property, easy to use. Super friendly host.

A nice getaway spot

The property was very nice. The house had plenty of space for our family of 5. The kids enjoyed splashing in the lake right outside, and it was conveniently located for the other things we went to in the area. We had to kill a few bugs, but that's par for the course in NC. A few of the supplies seemed a little sparse, but there's a store right down the road. Overall, we had a great experience, and would enjoy coming back!

Very quiet and safe neighborhood. So nice to have 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Weather was gorgeous and some of the prettiest sunrises you will see from the swing on the pier.
