What started out as a horrible night at a different hotel turned into a very pleasant stay here. The staff was very nice as soon as I arrived and even with it being very late in the evening they were super friendly. The room was very clean and after a long day of traveling, the bed was so comfy. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay and if I have to take a trip back down to Lakeland this hotel is definitely on my list to stay again.

To me this property is outdated. Its wasn’t what I expected seeing the pictures on Expedia and then showing up to the hotel. The room was clean but clearly outdated. The tv was improperly mounted on the wall. There was not light switch and no usb ports for electronics. The ceiling had water damage stains in both the bedroom area and in the bathroom. The furniture was all old and dated.

The hotel was shabby and in need of updating and redecorating. Staff were unhelpful and uncommunicative. On checking in we were told breakfast times but when we went down in the morning we were told there was no breakfast because the kitchen was being renovated. I would not stay in a Quality Inn again

Older gentlemen at check-in was rude and grumpy. The mattress on both beds was worn out and felt like sleeping directly on springs. The carpet was dirty and stained. There was no hot water the next morning. When I told the gentlemen at the front desk when checking out, his only response was that he had the same complaint from other customers. I guess it was supposed to make me feel better that I was not the only one who had a cold shower. He made no attempt to make things right and did not even offer an apology. This was a Low Quality Inn.

Dead roach in bathroom. Hole in bathroom door. Smoke detector broken with wires exposed. Other guests in parking lot area with lawn chairs drinking beer. One came inside & started arguing with the employee that was checking us in & when my husband told him to take care of his issue after we were checked in the guy raised his voice & was rude. The other employee possibly the manager told the employee helping us to finish with us & took the guy arguing away from The desk to talk to him. The overall cleanliness of room was bad. The mattress was dirty with stains. Towels had stains. Shower curtain was stained with mold. Windows had black residue around them. We only stayed 1 night & it was too late to look for another hotel as we were there for a local Soccer tournament our child was playing in & the next morning the game was very early. Horrible & uncomfortable experience all around. Would give 0 stars & do not recommend!

EXCELLENT VALUE. My room was beautiful and very clean and furnishings and carpets, etc., were in excellent condition! I was very very comfortable. Bed and mattress was very upscale, luxury. Elevator carpet was very dirty and back entrance, side entrance needs some cleaning, paint touchups, carpets replaced or deep cleaned! Employees were very nice. BREAKFAST was disappointing. Coffee with a brown bag take away of 1 orange, 2 small muffins, a small juice. NOT what I expected at all. Should put out even the smallest buffet selections like granola bars, breakfast bars, bowl or fruits, coffee, milk, boxed cereals, pop tarts, etc. LOTS of IDEAS to do an affordable selection of breakfast bits.
