“This was our second stay here. We love the house and, coming in September and October, it’s very peaceful and private. It’s more of a “bring your own stuff” place than some others but it was not an issue for us. Clean, comfortable house, great host, it’s a winner. ”

“Over the years our family have stayed at many rental properties, so I don’t say this lightly — our stay at the Northern Retreat On Chain Lake was our favorite. The listing represented the rental house well. Beds & bedding were comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. And having coffee on the dock overlooking the lake as the sun rose was amazing. The firepit was wonderful and the extra chairs were perfect when family stopped by to roast some smores. “This was the perfect location for your annual Girls Weekend! This home exceeded our expections. The property was beautiful, and the view was amazing. The home was clean, modern, with high end appliances. The bathroom has a bidet, and the bedrooms were spacious with extremely comfortable beds. We did not fish, but there were a few boats on the lake and the property had a canoe and kayaks for use by renters. I would stay here again and again! Highly recommend!”
