My husband and I stayed three nights at this hotel. We based our decision on customer ratings. For the life of me, I'm not sure why this hotel is rated so highly. It does have the potential to be an excellent hotel, but there were so many things wrong in our room, I just can't give it the higher rating. The pros are that the breakfast is wonderful! As far as our room goes, the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner was quiet and efficient. The cons were that the room, though it had been "prepared" for our arrival was just dirty. The carpet is so deeply soiled, that it needs to be replaced. The loveseat in the room was also very dirty. The bathroom had repairs that had been started long ago but never finished. There were no towel bars anywhere, so we had to ask for fresh towels each day. Normally, we would just hang them up and let them dry and use them again. The furnished shampoo and conditioner dispensers were both almost empty so I was glad I had brought my own. We decided to just stay in the room since it was a holiday weekend and most places were booked. Since we were mostly gone during the day, we didn't complain to the management about the room. We will be contacting corporate about it though. Since both my husband and I have been in property management for over 20 years, we know that it's the little things that seem to get overlooked. This Comfort Inn definitely needs the little things and some of the big things fixed right away.
