  • This completely restored home in Lancaster County’s Amish country is the perfect retreat from life’s worries. Situated on an acre along country roads surrounded by farmland you can enjoy from the back porch or patio area with wood burning fire pit (wood included). Our cottage offers modern conveniences with touches of vintage style, like stunning, original hardwood floors, exposed beams and restored fireplace. You can relax in the quiet, cozy home with a fully-equipped kitchen, including a stove, oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator, baking dishes, and pots and pans, or drive just a few minutes to many attractions and restaurants.

    We are near Sight and Sound Theatres, American Music Theatre, Strasburg Rail Road, Dutch Wonderland, Rockvale and Tanger Outlets, and Lancaster City markets and galleries. We are near the Village of Intercourse, Kitchen Kettle Village, and many other Amish country attractions.

    The charming home features two bedrooms with queen beds, one bath, and a washer and dryer. In the upstairs open area there is full size bed. We provide necessities like linens and towels. Wi-Fi, cable television in the living room, and games are offered for your enjoyment.

    The hosts are out of sight, but nearby and easy to reach.

The location of this place is perfect, we loved and took advantage of the outside seating for as much of the time as we could while we were there. Everything was clean and comfortable, including the beds and the cookies left for us to enjoy were tasty.

Highly impressed with this quaint, rustic but renovated cabin! Very clean and everything we needed in a location slightly off the beaten path but close enough to everything. Hostess had homemade cooking waiting for us - a sweet touch. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Lancaster or Sight and Sounds Theater!

What a sweet place to stay! There was accurate directions, an easy entry and cookies to welcome us! Everything was very clean. We stayed only 2 nights and wished we had everyone with us!We did not meet our hosts, which suits my personality, but te peace of the house shows their hospitable hearts! Highly recommend! One thing...if you had a disability or need a wheelchair this would be difficult. The bathroom and beds are up stairs.

Our 4th year visiting this home & we loved it just as much as every other year. It feels like home away from home. It is the best stocked home we have ever stayed in. Everything that may be needed is there. It's close to everything, in a perfect location to sit outside and watch the farmers and the horse & buggies go by and always clean. Just a lovely home. We loved being in the country away from all the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed the old home and the decor. It was so beautiful. Clean and it had dishes and all. Even had ketchup and mustard. The fireplace is where we hung out after a day of golf or aight seeing. I highly recommend this place! The host was just a email or text away. They even left us some cookies mmm so good.
