Wonderful stay

Our stay at Cow Shed was amazing! The house is beautifully appointed and has plenty of room for everyone. This house has something for everyone, from the game room to the outdoor spaces. The kids playhouse was a bonus! Would definitely stay here again!

Great location and exactly as listed. Super for my Golden Retriever who likes to roam around a bit! House was great - very accomodating for our friends. The stairs leading to the second floor were a bit daunting as we had an older crowd...but decided to use the handrail, keeping one hand free was the answer. The back porch was our hangout spot in the morning for coffee. Just never got tired of the view.

This home is stunning and so well appointed. The Host has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. We enjoyed a peaceful New Year's here and hope to bring our family back in the Summer! Absolutely beautiful location with a dock and water view! Highly recommend!

We had the most incredible stay at the Cow Shed. We came for a last minute weekend trip to give our dog (who has cancer) some time by the water. The host was so incredibly accommodating and kind — they even had a gift and a note of support for our pup at check in we loved having the opportunity to make some family memories at this lovely home. The house is lovely - super clean, organized, and well equipped. The pillows were extra fluffy and the bedding super soft. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean and organized…no old mismatched glassware and half-washed pots and pans here! There were plenty of puzzles and board games available (again, all organized and tidy). A big Roku TV in the living room that easily connected to our various subscriptions. The outside area was a dream for our kiddo dogs. Our daughter LOVED the custom playground and play house. The outdoor fireplace was the perfect way to wrap up the day. We loved the big porch overlooking the water with comfy rocking chairs for all! The property had plenty of space to spread out and explore. The kayaks were in great shape and we enjoyed using them! The location was great as well. Just minutes to a local market that made excellent sandwiches. And only 15 minutes to Belle Isle National Park if you’re looking for a sloped beach type water experience. Easy, clean, peaceful - we will definitely be back.
