Short girls getaway
Fort Langley is the Canmore of this area. Cafes, restaurants, walkable, trails to walk, we love it! Part of the quiet charm is that there aren’t big hotels. It is so lovely to be able to appreciate the area from such a bright and comfortable daylight basement suite. Everything we need is there, this time I stayed on the convertible couch and it was very comfortable and so quick to set up (my cousin was in the queen bedroom). The suite is quiet but bright with patio doors and a large window. The parking is convenient and the hosts left some arrival snacks for us. When I’ve been here in the winter the electric fireplace really makes the space cosy. This was my third visit to this property, it’s our favourite spot in Fort Langley. Thank you so much!

A Perfect Location to Experience Fort Langley
Stayed a week without a vehicle. Fort Langley is a walkable village with all the conveniences nearby. Right on the Trans Canada Trail (Fort to Fort Trail) and an extensive connecting trail system.

Perfect Apartment
The apartment is just lovely, well appointed and everything you need for an extended stay. We were so comfortable here, home away from home. The hosts were wonderful friendly and so accommodating to our every need. Highly recommend this lovely apartment with super access to Fort Langley and all the shops and cafes.

Perfect Stay

Totally impressed with this property so clean, and decor was so beautiful and warm and cozy. It was like walking into your own personal space just for you. I’d love to come back for another stay. Such attention to detail, for example- well placed kitchen, bathroom, Linens, etc. I loved it!

Perfect little place!
There's not that much accommodation available in Fort Langley, but fortunately this little place is perfect and only a short walk from the town centre. Also keep a look-out for the host's own artwork on the walls!

A Perfect Place
The suite is very comfortable and clean. The hosts are very nice, responsive and accommodating. I've stayed there twice now and will definitely stay there again. The town of Fort Langley is another plus. A beautifully quaint town with excellent restaurants and shops.

Great Spot!

Great choice
This was our second stay with Bernice and she is a most accomodating and gracious host. A cheerful check in as we were on our way and even left the porch light on when we were late. There is lots of light but it was an extra, welcoming beacon. The place is very clean, comfortable and well fitted with towels, blankets and kitchen equiptment. Will definitely stay again. A true gem
Our hosts were extremely kind and made us feel right at home, not even the smallest of details were overlooked. The property is located in ideal proximity to to walking trail, an absolute must in the morning. It is also tucked away into a quiet quaint residential neighborhood. Easy parking. My daughter and I were very comfortable in the 1 bedroom suite. The foldout couch was just as comfortable as the bed. Highly recommend this vrbo and will absolutely stay again.

Lovely Property
This property was perfect for our stay. It is beautiful inside and out, and Bernice and Peter were lovely hosts. The amenities in the house are plentiful, parking was provided, and the property is walking distance to village shops. The inside perfectly met our needs, and in addition, the outside yard was beautiful with a sitting area that provided both sun and shade. We would definitely book this property again!

Wonderful Fort Langley Home
We stayed here while showing at Thunderbird Show Park nearby and loved it! It was a quick 10 minute drive to the show grounds and walking distance to the lovely Fort Langley downtown area. We will be returning for sure!

Beautiful cottage like place
The property was very nice and just right for us. In a quiet neighborhood, in a lovely small city. The bed was very comfortable and all the amenities of home. We even had umbrellas provided to us for the rain. The town was fun with good places to eat, fun shops, and historic places to visit. It was close to Vancouver for day trips. The host were friendly and fast to respond to any question we had.

Five Star Rating
We are a well-travelled couple who have stayed in rental accommodations on every continent. Rarely have we enjoyed such a pleasant experience as we did at Bedford House. Prior to arrival, communication with the owners was timely, courteous and accommodating. The apartment was perfect - beautifully appointed with attention to detail obvious. We appreciated the welcome basket of grapes, banana, dried cranberries and nuts ...and the ice pack in the freezer was a god-send to my injured foot!! The kitchen was supplied with everything one would need for a short or long-term stay. (no need to pack pods for the coffee maker - we found an impressive supply in the cupboard). The bed was comfy with lovely linens. Good pressure in the large walk-in shower. The outdoor space was a wonderful place to unwind at the end (or beginning) of the day. The water feature added to the relaxing quiet outdoors. Fort Langley is a lovely unique village with lots of boutiques and restaurants/pubs to suit anyone's tastes. The neighbourhood is upscale and the trail is just minutes away on foot. Peter and Bernice could not have been more gracious, there when you needed anything, but discrete at other times. All in all, we wished we could have extended our stay, but Bedford House will definitely be on the top of our list next time we come back to FL. Five Stars, no question. Thank you for everything.

Cute convenient clean comfortable cozy
My daughter and i were very grateful for the great stay. We got a good nights sleep on the very comfortable bed and sofa, appreciated the lovely well stocked bathroom and shower and made use of the snacks and water provided, as we had no time to shop for groceries. The suite is very convenient (walking distance) to downtown Fort Langley, has off street parking, and is very private and quiet. We hope to stay again when at a Thunderbird horse show!

Quiet, restful, short walk to cafes & shops
This is my second stay in Fort Langley at this property. The parking spot and easy access through a private entrance is ideal. Fort Langley is such a treat, if you just want a few days away you don’t even need a car. The suite is just right for one, a couple, or even three with a child on the pull out. I appreciate the clean well equipped suite. They even left a few snacks which was so lovely as I arrived late. Thank you.

Our second visit
This was our second stay in the Bedford Landing area of Fort Langley, we stayed for a month and had all the conveniences of home. We made many of our meals and found the kitchen well supplied with cooking utensils etc. The WIFI was good and i was able to work and connect with family. Our host Bernice was pleasant, easy to reach, always a quick reply. A very positive experience and we would not hesitate to stay again.

Exactly what we needed!
This was the perfect place to unexpectedly stay! With our routines, the location was perfect for morning walks along the river, evening strolls through the town, space to stretch out and relax. Beautifully decorated interior with all the amenities of home made us feel exactly that, like we were at home and not away. Bright, open space inside and out With a clean backyard to accompany! Will definitely be remembering this location for further stays! The bed was extra comfortable too!

Wonderful Accommodation for Two
Overall this was a very positive experience for us. The suite was very quiet, very neat and clean, had a well stocked kitchen and was located in a lovely neighbourhood. Quiet and Comfortable
The suite is fully stocked with everything you could need, is immaculate and very comfortable. It's located in a very quiet, upscale neighborhood in Fort Langley - which is very trendy. It's an 8 minute walk to all of the shops and restaurants. You're also close to the walking trail along the river. Communication with the owners was easy and fast. Perfect for couples or a single renter. The unit is the bottom part of a home but doesn't feel like it, since it's 100% self contained with its own temperature settings. Very comfy bed and great living room furniture with an interior designer touch. Highly recommended at five stars out of five.

Thank you!!! Our stay was perfect! Our hosts were kind and thoughtful and responded quickly to our questions — not that we had many because our hosts had provided a well-organized binder full of information about the suite and the area we were visiting (logical layout for easy-to-find, quick answers). The suite itself was beautifully finished and decorated and had everything we needed. It was also incredibly clean. The location was convenient and picturesque. Close to restaurants (our hosts recommended some great ones) and shops and strolls along the river. And the suite was a cool oasis on some very hot summer days. We can’t wait to go back!!!

Grad celebration in Walnut Grove
This was perfect for our 2-day stay. Great location and beautiful, clean place. Laid out very nicely and the little extras (water in fridge, snacks out). We walked to the downtown area of Fort Langley for breakfast - quaint, lots to check out. Our 25-year-old (6' 1") stayed with us one night, on the pull out, which is not super comfy but it worked. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect weekend getaway for a 100% walkable visit to Fort Langley
This excellent location is right in Fort Langley and is a 2 block quick walk to the town's main quarter. Check-in instructions were easy to follow as was locating the dedicated parking spot steps from the suite's entrance. The suite is well equipped with anything you would need whether you plan to stay in and prepare your own meals or want to walk over for a coffee and meals in town every day. I appreciated small touches like the gorgeous turkish towels, extra bedding options, an electric fireplace and the option to tweak the thermostat if it was a rainy day. The hosts left out a snack plate that came in handy one night and a Keurig coffee maker always makes mornings easy. This is such a quiet location, it's a basement suite but no need to worry about noise from above. Staying right on the main drag in town can get noisy so this peaceful residential suite was welcome. The river walk trail in just down the lane and half a block over I couldn't get enough of this gorgeous town. It reminded me of the vibe in Canmore, Alberta, lots of outdoorsy types and excellent shops, walks, patios, and restaurants. Wifi was available, thank you! My parents came to visit an in the evening and it was so nice to have a comfy living area to sit and chat. Bernice and Peter's yard is just lovely and coming and going through the back gate both morning and evening was secure and well lit. I traveled alone so being comfortable coming and going was important. I will definitely book again and would love to come with my husband or a friend (and use the hide-a-bed). Thank you so much!

You won't be disappointed!
Communication with Bernice & Peter was easy and quick. The space had many welcoming small extras and great amenities. The pics did show laundry which we were counting due to our multiple stays for this vacation, but we managed. I should have asked them, not a deal breaker. Very gracious people and impeccably clean. It is located in a common area in the basement so our guests usually ask and then we unlock the door to the laundry room for them. Nice location, clean and cosy suite.
Bernice was very personable. She paid attention to detail, having the suite supplied with kitchen essentials along with a fresh fruit bowl. The suite is new, clean and well located within walking distance to groceries, restaurants and shopping. We will book this property again when visiting the area.

Cute and Complete in a delightful Town
This sweet one bedroom is thoughtfully outfitted with everything you would need to enjoy a home away from home. Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and many small unique shops to visit, waking trails and some of the best cycling routes in the lower mainland.
