这是真实的体会，是很客观的评价，对GILI我们被照片和名气所吸引，定的这个岛！从当初的期待登岛，到最后离开没有什么眷念。 我们定的是RESIDENCE,不满意的地方有：1. GILI岛附近有天堂岛，太近了距离，非常影响心情，没有独立于海上的感觉，对面的人啊，房子啊，灯啊，都很清楚看得到，还有其他一个岛屿总是冒黑烟~ 我们的房子正对着就是左边是天堂岛，右边还有GILI岛的STAFF VILLAGE，没有宽阔的海岸线 2. 海水太浅，白天基本不能游泳，只能达到膝盖大腿处的水，只能等下午涨潮起来短短的时间看是否可以够高度，房子附近的水域几乎都是死珊瑚，走在海水里很磕脚，鱼儿比较少，游泳只能去我们房子所处的反方向的海岸游泳 3.吃的东西很差劲，基本是针对白人老外的，口味不对亚洲人的，除了日本餐厅味道不错，服务也好，而且自助餐也都没有口水喝，都是要单独点，加钱的，且费用不便宜，早餐自助餐不推荐，价格贵，而且只有几种水果，一种炒饭可能我们亚洲人可以吃，其他都是欧美的奶酪，面包硬硬的吃到吐啊，3. 海滩真心差，酒店提出的 NO SHOES，但我无法做到，海滩不是那种软软的白沙，而是粗糙的，还有好多死珊瑚，走路极其痛，没办法拖鞋走路，不知道这个NO SHOES 理念是哪里来的，如此自信！而且我们住这边还没有沙滩，就是STAFF VILLAGE 这边，全是死珊瑚堆在岸边还有杂草 4. 我们的MR. FRIDAY, 真心不喜欢，老是板着脸，笑容是奢侈的，看不到的，热情也是感受不到的，沟通完全是没有的，没有贴心的感觉，总是我在询问他信息，但得到的信息却很少，全是我在说话，他说话很简略，没有更多的详细介绍及询问，只是程序化的，木讷的脸，看到就很烦啦~ 5. 房间打扫总是在人在的时候来，很干扰私人空间，上午一次，傍晚一次，而且房间不擦的，所以我们所有人的脚在屋里走都是黑脚板，麻袋是很干净，所以不理解，这房间有多久时间没有用水拖过才能有这么脏，黑 6. 浴室厕所没有空调，我们是2月份去的，这还才是春天，但屋外都是很热的，浴室是露天的，刚洗了澡又是一身汗，还有客厅相当的大，但是只有一个很小的挂式空调，不怎么够劲~ 总的来说，这次在GILI岛本来是报着很大期望的，但最后却不是很满意的，下次也不会再来的，走的时候也没有留恋的， 我平时评论很少有写这么多，而且并不是一个苛刻的人，但花了这么多钱，并没有享受到等值的服务，总是让人心里不爽的， 因为这是第二次去麻袋了，是因为第一次在W岛的感受到了麻袋的美，才会想再来麻袋，但GILI跟W岛比，真是相差悬殊了，除了房间大了很多，其他没有任何的优势啊，两次的价格是差不多的，但感受相差很大，W的水，饮料等都是免费的，冰欺凌水都是在冰柜里，岛上各处放置，也都是随便拿免费的，岛上各处还有冰毛巾可以降温，而且岛上的沙滩是一级棒，又白又软，太让人怀念啦，早餐自助餐太啦，有很多海鲜，水果，糕点，亚洲菜系，欧洲菜系，很多选择，而且这也是免费的！岛上每个餐厅的菜都非常棒，物有所值，服务也很贴心，是发自内心的，打扫卫生从来都是客人出去的时候做，没有耽误你一点私人空间，这简直没法比较了，自然环境更是一流的，浮浅，游泳，看鱼儿，珊瑚到处都是，周围没有其他的岛屿，很安宁，这才是世外桃源，GILI岛真的很需要改进！

Gili surpassed all expectations during my recent visit, recommended by my son for its Maldivian paradise. A seamless journey began with a friendly guide at MLE airport, leading to a quick 20-minute boat ride to the resort's dock. Gili's speedboat ensured a swift arrival in about an hour, setting the tone for an exceptional experience. The island's rustic charm complemented my spacious Duplex villa, providing privacy with separate pavilions for bedrooms, living areas, and bathrooms. The culinary experience, led by Chef Harry and Monice, was exceptional, with a variety of high-quality breakfast offerings. Exploring underwater wonders with Mr. Friday, Ismail, was a highlight, showcasing Gili's commitment to guest satisfaction. The impeccable service, personalized touches, and magical atmosphere make Gili a resort worth returning to—an extraordinary experience that left an indelible mark on my memories. I wholeheartedly recommend Gili for romantic getaways or family trips, as it holds a special place in my heart.

Gili Lankanfushi is a simple yet very elegant resort. It is in perfect harmony with the surroundings. All the villas are built over the water and they are not your regular bungalows. They are beautiful, spacious apartments that have the most stunning views I have ever seen. No detail has been overlooked when it comes to the interior design of the villa that I stayed in (#10). It is open, breezy, quiet, very clean. I had the best sleep of my life. I came for a short vacation for a much need it recovery time and I left completely rejuvenated: body, mind and soul. When you wake up in the morning, the first thing you see when you open your eyes is the most beautiful turquoise waters all around you. The dinning on this island was above and beyond my expectations. One cannot use adjectives like "good" or "delicious" to describe it because it will not do any justice. The flavors, textures, overall presentation all invite you to slow down and savor every bite you take. After each dining experience, I was left with a sense of complete happiness and satisfaction. The “Over the water” sushi restaurant is an experience out of this world. You can tell that the chef, Hari, is not just talented but also passionate and creative about this work with a key eye to details. This came through in every dish he prepared for me. The island is filled with lush vegetation and there's an overall sense of tranquility. It is like a forgotten piece of paradise in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

If you plan on staying at this hotel, DONT. They will nickel and dime you on absolutely everything. You need a COVID test in order to leave? $300. They are absolutely ridiculous. The staff practically harasses you to go to their special themed dinners but once you go, you get the bill at the end as $320 for 2 people. They are complete scammers. The staff is very nice to the point that you feel bad complaining but they are scammers just as much as the hotel itself. They do not disclose pricing to the customer until the final bill comes. Although the hotel room was nice and has a nice view, don’t expect it to be private AT ALL. Both fishing boats and resort tourist boats drive by and park directly in front of the room 24/7. The shower is outdoors so prepare to have to duck every time a boat goes by. Did I mention it’s directly next to a fish factory? The bathroom is completely open, the shower is outside and the bathtub and bathroom are in front of see through windows, any boat that drives by can see you. At many instances it was really uncomfortable.

فندق اكثر من رائع كنت قد اخترت جناح فيلا وهي فيلا على الماء.. كانت الفيلا اكثر من رائعة مكونه من غرفة نوم ومنطقة جلوس تفصل بين دورات المياة وغرفة النوم ويوجد كذلك جلسة في السطح ذات اطلالة خلابة وكذلك وكذلك يوجد اكثر من جلسة خارجية على البحر مباشرة.. التصميم مبهر وكذلك الاهتمام بادق التفاصيل.. الخدمة اكثر من رائعة ويتوفر عند كل فيلا دراجة حسب اختيارك سواء بعجلتين او ثلاث عجلات.. الفطور منوع ولذيذ وكذلك الحال للعشاء والغداء.. اذا كنت ترغب باكلات خارج قائمة الطعام الرئيسية فيمكنهم تحضيرها لك لكن اخبرهم قبلها بوقت.. هذه زيارتي الثالثة للمالديف وهذا فندقي الخامس.. للامانه اعتبرة الافضل حتى الان

It rained all week during our stay. TV facilities did work properly. Everything is very expensive. A small can of coke is close to 10 dollars. The themed nights are great, but the other food nights are ok. Soups and other items are a bit cold, need to be hotter.

Was only able to stay for 2.5 days, but it was excellent. The best service that I have received in any hotel across the world. It is true, you get what you pay for. The only con about the hotel is that the food/activities/etc are not included and are quite expensive.

This trip to the Maldives and Gili was an absolute dream and one that will be remembered for a lifetime. My husband and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary/ belated honeymoon at this resort and everything was beyond expectation. The location, service, accommodations, and just general mood at the resort was wonderful.

Everything they say is true....absolutely the most fantastic hotel we've stayed at. We were here for 5 days. My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed is Crusoe Residence, which is an over water villa. It had a separate bedroom with king size bed,and the living room had 2 day beds that comfortably slept our tall teenage boys. Both the bedroom and living room has air conditioning. The resort was fantastic and the good was outstanding. We got the half board package (breakfast and dinner included) and found it to be perfect for us -- big breakfast (buffet), skip lunch, then a nice dinner. Your stay at the resort can be as relaxing or adventurous as you'd like. There was plenty of activities if that's what you want - scuba diving, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, parasailing, sailing, tubing, sushi making, garden demonstration, yoga, spa, fitness room, bikes, etc. And a nice hammock outsude your villa if that's all you want to do! The service was amazing - every detail was anticipated and efficiently handled. Water equipment was in outstanding condition and all the boats were immaculately maintained. The resort has a "no shoes" policy, so literally we didn't wear shoes all week -- not for dinner or anywhere! You can if you want to, but it was so liberating to spend all day without shoes.

Deserves best hotel in the world
We only spent short 3 days at Gili Lankanfushi but the experience is highly memorable. The standard villa is very huge and private. It offers rustic feeling but very comfortable in every way. The island is big which you cannot snokling around but you can go to each place by bicycle which is provided for every villa or simply by walking. The pool isn't big and quite plain but when you have clear water right in front of villa balcony, we don't really care about the pool. The service is spectacular, you can customize many things from bedding options to even the shampoo in bathroom. All staffs are attentive and eager to provide you the best service there is. Bathroom is huge but the bathtub is a normal bathtub which considered small and will only suit one person. All in all, Gili Lankanfushi deserves the best hotel in the world title.
