We truly enjoyed all the moments of our stay in Lansing. The property was beautiful, quiet, relaxing, perfect for a getaway for a couple. The place was clean, the binder provided was thorough, and of course the outside space was idyllic.
The main cabin along with the adjoining cabin were just what we needed for our fly fishing weekend. Both cabins were very clean and had all of the amenities we needed for the weekend.
My daughter and I were celebrating her birthday and it was an awesome couple of days, we are hoping to get to stay here next year. A perfect place to relax.
Hal & Margie’s cabin had everything we needed for an extended weekend away in Lansing. We enjoyed the DVD collection, games, and cozy fireplace. The hot tub coupled with the sound of the babbling brook was a lovely addition. We would stay again. Thanks again Hal & Margie
Awesome place to stay, hot tub listening to creek was so enjoyable , owner was so easy to talk with and really nice, place was really nice and clean and will be going back often!!
The cabin was secluded yet only 25 minutes from West Jefferson. The cabin was clean and inviting. Bedrooms comforting and the living room was roomy. The kitchen and bath were moderm and well equiped. But what outshines everything is the babbling creek that run next to thecabin.
The house was easy to find, the hosts were great to deal with, it was beyond clean. The hot tub was amazing on the cold nights. The bed was comfy and everything was well labeled and organized. Only complaint was we couldn't stay longer bc of our work schedule!
Cabin was extremely clean and cozy. I have enjoyed staying at the cabin every year with my Dad. Perfect spot in the mountains to enjoy the fall leaves and Lansing. Would highly recommend.
We had an amazing time staying in this cabin. The cabin was clean, and very neat. We enjoyed the peaceful sounds of nature and the creek flowing. The detached cottage was also clean and well-kept. We will definitely return!
Beautiful place in the mountains with a stream rushing right by the cabin. We left the doors cracked so we could hear the water running and it was really nice. The hot tub is top-notch and a this was a great place just to get away. Cannot wait to go back
We had a great time in this clean and welcoming cabin. Be sure to bring coffee, soap, shampoo, etc. if you want/need it. This place was very clean. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful.
This was such a nice place to stay! Everything was clean and comfortable! We had such relaxing time sitting by the creek, roasting marshmallows, the kids loved the hot tub. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! This little mountain town is still struggling after the hurricane so we tried to give help wherever we could! Glad we could support some local businesses and hope to go back soon and watch this mountain rebuild! If you are looking for a rural place to stay that is quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle this is a great location!
I absolutely loved staying here with my family! Everything about it was a smooth process, from all instructions, to check in, to getting there. It’s a stunning, quaint cabin with the absolute best scenery and it even snowed the night we came in! It was very clean; set up perfectly with all the movies, cabinets and light switches labeled, and the hot tub is always a plus! We will definitely be back!
The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on all of the porches, watching wildlife and listening to the quiet. The cabin is pretty close to the road, but there’s very little traffic, and we only had a brief period of activity on Saturday evening.
It’s located very close to Lansing, which has a very nice creeper trail and a few local businesses which were worth visiting. We had originally planned to spend some time in West Jefferson during our stay, but found the cabin so peaceful we couldn’t face the “crowds“.
We would definitely stay here again
The place was absolutely perfect!! I felt safe and at home. SUPER CLEAN!! Even bigger than it looks on the pictures.
I loved that all the kitchen cabinets are labeled.
The surrounding area is stunning and the country winding roads make you feel like you’re completely off grid…but you still have signal ❤️
For sure I will return over and over!!❤️
The couch is a hideaway bed as well, which was a treat!!
We are outdoors folks and enjoy nature. This cabin is set in the woods with a little stream. The decor os ao fitting. You are about 30 minutes to West Jefferson and the Mountains in the area are amazing. Lots of wildlife and fishing in the area. Our son is on West Jefferson and it was nice being able to be near him. Thank you the Turco’s
Initially I couldn't get a hold of the owner to get the keys due to no cell service so plan ahead but once we got in, everything we needed was there! Wifi, good linens and towels, comfortable beds, cute creek along the front, only downside is it was grown up so my kids could not get down to it to play, which is part of why i rented it. Other than that, super cute, excellently stocked, and super quiet!
This cabin was just Perfect!! The stream was soothing!!! West Jefferson was a shirt rude and an amazinglittlw Mountain town that l LOVE!!! Owner and Property manager were amazing when l couldnt find a remote control!!! My fault!!!! Just GO!!!!!! I will be going again just as soon as l can...Thank you!!!!
Everything about this weekend adventure went smoothy. No problems what-so-ever. Listing was accurate. Operation of the fire place, hot tub, TV, were all easily figured out. Our little cabin felt spacious. I took several walks about the property listening to the creek and taking in the flora. Although it is roadside, traffic was light and never bothersome.
We wanted a cute place that fit the needs of our visiting adult children. The attached cabin was a huge hit with our daughter and grandchildren to allow them privacy. The property was absolutely beautiful with a super fun creek that the kids all enjoyed as an obstacle course for hours! The kitchen was fully stocked..no need to bring anything. The decorations and cute little details were so neat as you found something new every day. The spa was a big hit for the young adults! We were able to visit the town of Lansing where we had lunch and enjoyed the local shops and the beautiful park literally a 6 minute drive!! Oh and the Trout Fishing in walking distance was YUMMY!! 10/10 Recommend!!
