"First could not find reservation, Waited over one hour and lady at desk had an attitude. Then taken to wrong room; no ocean view. Then moved to another building and it has a ocean view from 14th floor over a 1/4 mile away! No where near the beach; you have to walk to a open field and then pay to go on the beach. This is just old condo's that are empty and poorly managed and false advertising at the least. would NEVER recommend! Oh, and a $13.00 per hour early check in; charged for 2 hours even...

"Got two rooms, no hot water in either room, shower heads were plugged in both rooms no cable in one room and no wires to hook it up, the views were great, internet was great but the showers and hot water was an issues and before they say something about not being plugged in or turned on, I am a plumber and they were, they shower heads were so clogged that only a few holes allowing water through but with no pressure."

"Wonderful"

"This hotel doesn't have AC in the humid close to 100 degree Mactan weather. Worse, hotel staff lied about it. Later they claimed that's an environmentally friendly energy saving measure. However, in between they sent maintenance to the room who claimed that everything worked well and room will be cold in 30 min. Keep in mind this is a small 200 sf room with a smaller than queen sized bed. All curtains are closed due to heat of the sun, so you're basically cooking in tiny dark room. 90%+ of customers seemed to be from other Asian countries who are used to the heat. If you're from a western coutry and expect working AC, avoid this place like a plague. It took a 3 hour fight to cancel our registration. Then they said it is cancelled but refused to provide paperwork to prove it. It was another 45 min fight to get a proof of cancellation that I will need to submit to Orbitz to receive money back. If there were a negative rating, I would have chosen that. Worse hotel in Mactan. We ended up booking a walk-in in the Mercure next door. Much better at similar price point. However, room and bed were tiny. But we got ocean view and working AC. Bottom line, if you want to enjoy your stay in Mactan get ready to pay Shangri-LA or Sheraton prices. Beach is nice but tiny and the entire city is basically Newton Street with a Starbucks, McDonalds, 2 x 7/11s and 3 bars. Not much else. 1 night was perfect."

"Poor experience. Room phones do not work. Motion detectors (that automatically turn all electricity in your off) do not function correctly. This is a $500 / night five-star hotel that provides a two-star experience. Staff are extremely dismissive of concerns. Your better choice would be Shangri-La Mactan."

"The food was not very good. Several items were undercooked and some were cold when they should have been hot. We expected much better for how expensive it was. Also, we have a special needs child and we informed to them in advance, but they still had little to no care about his well-being. There was an team building event that was very noisy and they did nothing to help. But whenever our child was overly excited and made noise because of his sensory challenges they were very quick to tell us to have him quiet down. They claim to be pro children with disabilities, but this was not our experience and we caution others to with children with sensory challenges to question the staff extensively before booking to make sure they have a chance for a better time than we had."
